I have the same bag and love it. I dont use the built in card holders for credit cards either but i have used them for bandaids, sweetener packets, hotel keys and coupons or tickets for events.

I own 7 different Baggallinis and love them all! Great for travel and everyday, lightweight so you can really pack a lot into them without it being too heavy.

Great review! My mom is a travel agent, and so travels a lot. She has a smaller bagellini bag that turns in a fanny pack. She loves it, especially how it works well for traveling, but also looks nice enough for every day use .

Looks like a great bag. Finding the right travel bag is so hard. I ended up buying unisex one for my last trip (after my previous one died) and I wasn't sure how it would work but it was great - LOTS of pocket organization.

I love these bags, I bought one 10 yrs ago for my first trip to the UK and used it for the next 4 trips..I think its time to buy a new one..thanks for the tip..:)

Hi Marnie, When I saw the travel bag you purchased it totally reminded me of a bag I purchased to travel with. About 2 years ago I saw it at a Roots store here in Canada. It turned out to be an awesome investment! It looks a lot like the one you have only it is in Italian leather. The one I purchased was the Venetian Village Cir Tribe. They have a number of similar bags like it in different sizes and colors. Cheers :-)

I have many Baggallini bags, and use the Belfast Mini with all of them, but my favorite is the Capetown Travel Backpack. With a family, it seems I’m always carrying more than my share of the 'stuff'!! It even has a cushioned divider for my iPad! Check it out before your next family trip...and if it’s too big for an outing, I use the Belfast Mini with the crossbody strap. ☺️

That's a great bag! I have a small-ish version of it that I picked up from Eddie Bauer last year for traveling and it's great. I really like this one though. Already looked on Zappos for it!

I love love love my Baggallini bags. I have several heading toward many! ; ) I have been looking at this style so thank you for such a great review. I can get Baggallinis at my Hallmark so next time I have a coupon... : ) The bag I use the most is their Wallet bag (I think) it's the larger one. I use it as a crossbody on the weekends but during the week I take off the strap and it's my wallet in my large Baggellini tote for work.

I have two of them one small one that holds so much i actually made a video of what i had in it and it was the never ending bag of holding and can be worn on a belt has a loop in the back and a cross body strap and i have a larger one which the small one fits in and I usually am still able to put many things in the bag like tablet and brush and pens a note book or two plus all the regular purse stuff .. I want one of their back packs but they are a little out of my price range right now .. I have used the small one daily for going on three yrs now and the lg one daily for 2 yrs and they are not looking any different from the day i bought them got he small one at marshals for $25 and the lg one at TJ maxx i believe for about $40 best bag purchases ever ..

I don’t know about the Bagallini bags, but I use bags from Travelon, and those credit card slots are RFID protected, which is why you should use them. They protect your cards from electronic pickpockets than can scan your card while it’s in your bag, just by getting close to you. Travelon also lines all of their bags with stainless steel in both the body and strap of the bag to prevent slashing. Finally, the ability to unclip the strap is so you can wrap it through a chair or table so it can’t be snatched. Check out Travelon for travel safe bags.

Hi...I love this bag for all the reasons that you mentioned. I have a few Tignanello crossbody organizer bags in leather that I use mostly for travel and day trips like you. When I travel, I try not to wear any expensive "iconic" items. Here's a tip: purchase a few of those "dog clip" thingies and you can connect additional zip pouches inside your bags...this is a quick DIY. I'm really enjoying the travel videos...in addition to your regular line up. All the best! Deanie

I never know what to bring along, and I wish I'd been able to afford a bag like that when I studied abroad in Scotland back in college!

I don't think it's necessary, but it has definitely come in handy and it is much more portable for travel.

Bagallini bags are great - I have a slightly smaller one (found it at Marshall's or TJMaxx!) that I pack in my suitcase, while I wear a bigger, fancier one on the plane. It's nice to have a lightweight bag while touring.

Great review, and a great bag. That is just the kind of thing I like for every day, and it's big enough for a book, which is one of my requirements. Another great source of sturdy everyday bags is Tippy Thai on Etsy. I am not affiliated with the shop at all, I just have a couple of the bags, and have been very impressed. I recently saw some smaller Baggallini bags as TJMaxx, so I will keep my eyes open to see if they get more.

I found the Baggalini Bags at the Birkenstock store on Heubner Road in SA. Just FYI.

OMG, I have the same bag and have loved it for ages! However, I can no longer find it. I've looked on Amazon, the Container Store and even the website of Baggallini itself but they don't have the same one. I think I only see smaller versions of it these days and I'm devastated. :-(

You can find baggallini products at Marshall’s or TJ Maxx. The large Sydney is retired, however they have a lot of similar bags (Melbourne bag) at those stores as well as online on Mercari app or you can try EBay. There are a lot of places that sell then. Love the brand. I have nearly 20 baggallini bags.

Wondering if you or anyone would know if the iPad Air would fit in the rear pocket and still have the magnet close. OR easy in/out of the front zipper pocket. My iPad air is 6.75 wide x 9.5 long (with Smart Cover). I'm trying to find a bag that avoids my iPad being in the main compartment. I think this will work but not entirely sure. :) Thanks!

I could see guys were that baggallini bag as well with some cool skull beads what not have you I have a baggalinni that ment to be a tote purse its the triple zip but it make for me the nicest edc bag man my pockets use to bulge and saggie up my pands ther nice and snugg now and stay in place omg

If anyone is looking for a leather version of that bag, Roots (Canadian Company) makes the original one. I think it might be smaller than the one by Baggallini. It's the bag that was seen on Heidi Klum a few years ago and also in the first Hangover movie. Good to know there is this option because sometimes you just need lightweight nylon.
