Great job on the remake! I love catching in remakes the next day. I don't use shock springs here in Kentucky we're not required to use them. I like to only give them a short chain ⛓ so they can't get a running start hardly ever any foot damage. Thanks for sharing brother

Nice work why don't you use gloves for the Bate and the sheep wool ?

If the chain is no longer than 8 inches from solid ground to the base of the trap you don’t have to use a shock spring soos ya know

I know but mine are and it’s helps save the foot on foxes if they get caught in those 550s

I was thinking the samething about the shock springs. I removed all my shock springs and also removed a few links of chain from my traps. I think I have 3 links on my traps now before they connect to the anchor. Traps bed so much better now. I didn't have any bad feet on coyotes or foxes this year with the springs removed. I'm using Duke 550s.

@@CarolinaCoyote Do you think infrared light flash from trail cam scares coyotes off if they see it?
@CarolinaCoyote
Жыл бұрын
Yes it definitely does. Only way of working around that is hanging the trail cam up REALLY high in a tree. Literally, use a ladder to hang trail cam and angle it down on your set
