I was once in a service where at the end the pastor asked if anyone had any prayer requests. A woman that no one knew raised her hand and said, “Pray for me I’m the child of two famous people…John F Kennedy and the Queen of England and life ain’t easy.” Watching that pastor try to steer that ship back on course was a thing of beauty.😂

Oh! We had a pastor allow a lady to give her testimony. She wasn’t a regular attender. Well, the Pastor was hard of hearing. He sat and let her go. Well, suffice to say this lady had a story to tell. It involved drugs a vision of a 7 ft tall black Jesus in a wheel chair coming to heal her. There were some wild twists in that story. The Pastor finally clued in after about 5 minutes. One thing I’ll give the gal, she was creative in her reciting of her vision.

We do? That’s not why I attend. In fact, this kind of garbage “music” is why I’ve fled many churches. Modern worship is filth. You can have your terrible rock and roll (you guys tend to call it “praise music”) and you can have your social club/laughing time all you want. But this music, which has taken over most churches, is absolute garbage. I’ll take true hymns over this disgusting music any day. I’d even choose bad rock music over this praise nonsense. Because at least popular/secular artists aren’t hiding behind the cross. They’re open about being heathens. But these “musicians” in the modern church are frauds. Claiming to be serving the Lord. I think they’re giving God a migraine.

I grew up in the 80s with good worship. Today I can hardly worship in a church. Lots of people with big ego trying to show off. Just performance and no anointing. Every church has their own songs, and most are hard to sing. I saw an article explaining why it is hard to sing in churches today. Most songs are made so people can sell CDs and are very poorly made. Poor rhyme. Worship became a business. When I sing at home by myself that is when I feel something special. What about the way people dress? From leggings to transparent T-shirts. One time I asked 3 musicians in my church 5 questions about the Bible, and they didn't know. Today we have too much show and very little power.

If this comedy could be guaranteed in church services, it would almost be enough to persuade me to go to a church and sit through it.

Worship fails expose false worship to begin with. Worship was never meant to be a performance. True biblical worship can never be a fail.
I was a lighting op for my old church back years ago. I was just learning the boards and our LD felt it was time for me to fly solo. We had two boards: one to run our color lights and one to run our house lights. We had several intelligent spotlights at the back. I thought one was moving, so I went to correct it. Instead of selecting the individual fixture, i selected the whole group. I gave that joystick a nudge…next thing I know, our lights are spinning! Oops!

Honestly, her vocals were pretty bad....she's trying for a vibrato, but she's not able to do that, so instead she's doing some sort of weird quick vibrato that sounds strange. If you can't do vibrato, then just sing straight, sounds much better that way. I'm thinking the drummer just couldn't stand it anymore, and decided to drown her out.
#13 - "Remove anything that is keeping us from worshiping:.." FULL Techno.
So, during one worship session I was on the keyboards. And, I went into a solo and completely forgot that I was supposed to stop after 2 bars, but the scale was F#. If you know anything about the F# scale -- you can riff a beast of a solo on the black keys; until I turned to my left to see both my worship leader and singer look at me... oof.
