At least give measurements? "Large paint sticks no help here as you say "Dollartree" fifty times. I realize they’re probably paying you to advertise, but We don’t have 42:40 in Atlantic Canada. They won’t even let us order from them on line! We only have Dollarama. They have very little Dollartree sells, but if we have sizes, we might be able to replicate your excellent ideas? Thank you for taking the time to show us. You’re amazing!

Right now, the 1x2's are up to 1.98. They key is the get Furring strips, and not the premium cuts of wood. You may have to shuffle through a few pieces to find a perfect one, but to me it's worth the savings. Don't forget any Military or Senior Discounts (bring grams or papa with ya) Every little bit helps!

You have such an easy listening voice ☺️. Your instructions are super! Especially that you go the extra mile to put pieces of paper on each with measurements and how many to cut. It makes it so easy for me to do ☺️🙏

i really prefer the way you present your videos. You're concise, provide written measurements when necessary, and demonstrate one section, then show us additional sections when completed. I love the boxes w/ hanger legs, especially w/ the curved feet on the bottom. I think I would add a button or some other little bauble where the straight pieces are joined.

I actually thought about that but it appeared odd to me for some reason! I didn't want to take away from the look!

Those shutters would be so pretty around a mirror, especially a rectangular one above a council, fireplace or in a hall or foyer. So pretty.

I look at lots of different crafters’ videos but I always come back to Dee when I am ready to make something. Her videos are so easy to follow. I like her soft, calm voice. Some of the other girls get a bit screechy. BEST OF ALL Dee’s videos are all about the project and not all about Dee.

Love all of your projects. I have found that not all Home Depot’s will cut your wood pieces for free, some of them give you 2 free cuts and then charge .50 for each additional cut.

Wow... Try Lowes. They have never limited my cuts. Also, it may even be a good idea to get a Miter Box to cut your pieces or try a saw! :)

My husband passed away 7 years ago and I had to sell some of his tools to finish some remodeling that we had started together but there are some that I can still use. I’m sorry for your loss. God bless you and Know he would be prolific you!

OMG !! I had no ideal you could make such high end home decor from such inexpensive materials. Well, you can teach an old dog new tricks !! At almost 65, I brought a RV, class C, as a Solo female. I’ve been looking for ideals to decorate the walls & KZread popped you up as a suggestion and now I’m binge watching you. I’m definitely going to have fun making a few of these items. I’m a DIY to a degree. I have paid the high cost. But, no more !! I hope more ppl discover you. I certainly will share with my Friends. I've watched a ton of different peoples videos displaying these same sort of DIY projects with cheap/dollar store items and I have to say not only are your ideas/end products of really high quality, your videos are by far THE BEST I've yet to see. You provide very clear, easy-to-follow instruction and the way you structure the content is really dynamic and easy to navigate. I'm also impressed with your video design and editing skills. Creative & professional! Which (TBH), I'm surprised by the lack of solid video editing and design skills on KZread these days... Especially considering the vast options of free, easy to use editing apps! But anyway, I felt the need to applaud you on everything you're doing. I certainly appreciate it! Dee, I love your projects. You make then pretty, functional and to last a long time. I appreciate this as I dont want to be fixing my pieces as often as I would otherwise. I love the frame with the flower petals. Its gorgeous and my faviorite so far . I've always wanted a room divider. This would be lovely made into that. I also love the little shelf piece. It works well in the bathroom and as a coffee bar shelf. You must have read my mind, or I read yours as I was thinking of adding another shelf across the top and wahala you did it !! I like how you used the paint sticks to the back of your faux iron decor shelf. It gives the apperce of bead board. I can't choose a faviorite between these two. Both are very pretty. The window panel pieces are awesome both vertically and horizontally

I love your creativity and the excellent instructions. FYI: Good wood glue is all that’s needed. Professional woodworkers will tell you screws or nails are only for the purpose of letting the glue set. The glue is much stronger than screws or nails.
