Hi folks! This is my favorite video I’ve made since starting this channel! For today’s video, I will be sharing with you all 8 tips I have to write your college essays! This includes UC Personal insight questions, common app essays, coalition app essays, and even CSU EOP questions. I had so much fun thinking about my past experiences reading college apps, researching different tips, filming, and editing for this video. I haven't started my essay mostly because the thought of this being the thing that defines me to the colleges eyes is pretty intimidating

Hi Diane! Thank you so much for sharing and I definitely hear you on that. It can be scary but it's important to remember that you are amazing! You've done all the hard work already; you've completed all your classes, received good grades, participated in clubs, and/or won awards. Now comes the "easy" part - now you get to show off! Start with a rough draft that focuses on things that are most important to you; I bet it'll feel natural once you start. I believe in you.

^ that is my reason as well.
I have started on my essays, but I haven't been completing them because it's hard for me to express what I want to say in a way that's easy to understand, and I don't want to misrepresent myself.

Hi Joanna! I'm happy to hear that you've started on your essays and thank you for answering my question. I just want to let you know that that is a very normal feeling. Which essays are you working on? I know it's a little scary trying to express/define yourself in ~500 words but I know you can do it!
