Yes, most definitely! Paris is pretty small so the inner ring is all easily reachable via public transportation. Some of my fave places to stay are Le Marais and the 2nd arrondissement!

It’s better to stay in the city center, it’s more dangerous the farther you stay out of the center. The higher the arrondismont the more risky it is
