Harrisburg has several historic buildings, and you should start with one of the most important; the State Capital Complex. You can then expand your journey through the past at the John Harris and Simon Cameron Mansion and the Fort Hunter Mansion and Park.
Several museums celebrate the history of Pennsylvania and its capital. They include the National Fire Museum, Civil War Museum, and the State Museum of Pennsylvania,
Museums aren’t the only way to get your fill of culture in the city; it’s also full of art. Go to the Susquehanna Art Museum or Whitaker Science Museum for a curated tour. For a more relaxed experience, walk through the Millworks or visit Harrisburg during the Sprocket Mural Works Mural Fest.
City Island sits in the middle of the city and provides wonderful views of everything it has to offer. Make sure to take a tour of the water on the Pride of the Susquehanna riverboat.
Go to the restored Wildwood Park to spot wildlife, have a picnic, and relax outdoors. Echo Caverns is another natural wonder that offers miles of twisting depths that always stay at 45 degrees.

That's a terrible opening shot of a street. I notice the trash cans more than anything else. Maybe do it on a day when the trash is not put out. Just saying.
