Ronin is not just relatively expensive, he's absurdly expensive. He costs exactly the same as Void Knight who is like 10 times better than him. Unfortunately I'm stuck trying to get Ronin to max stars right now because I need new avengers to power up GGC. The other 4 aren't a problem to get fragments, Ronin is.

I agree I'm in a similar situation. I buy his shards when I have enough credits but that is also a challenge.

I'm not leveling illuminati at all until they announce full legendary requirements. The team is not that great without cb. Gonna use that time to catch up on some side projects like leveling raid teams further, unlocking Apoc etc.

they announced they are changing the unlock reqs for Black Bolt and Iron man, Hero Mystic and Hero Skill i believe respectively. not sure why it hasn't happened yet.

illuminati without cb is a b-tier war/cc team, confirmed by dorkydad and shouldnt be touched at all by new players especially for f2p or "only" pass buyers (lol only 80 bucks)

Interesting perspective I do appreciate it. I would tend to disagree because new players should always build the newest teams, their stats are gonna be better and The team will be needed for a legendary.So you're gonna have to invest in them anyway, might as well do it now. But I'm definitely curious to see if they are capable of anything without Captain Britain.

@@larskoenig6021 Gideon is making an excellent point here. Illuminati is about the long game. End game players may be seeking instant gratification but planning for the next legendary unlock is crucial for new players. This is the big picture plan.

@@gideonxl660 they dont. dorky was already able to test them. its all about cb in off and def. and for the unlock you will need cb so theres no point in investing in an team below wardog-level.

​@@larskoenig6021That may be true. I hear what you're saying 100%, but for new players to skip teams is very dangerous. You gotta get 20 teams on the board to participate in all game modes. So even if this isn't the best team ever made if it's serviceable, they should still use it. And at some point. Capt. Britain will be available for the general public instead of having to build the entire team. I just need to build him.
