Jade is kind of AoE version of Topaz. Topaz was niche at launch, Topaz is still kind of niche. Jade is also FuA, seems to cover AoE FuA niche. Jade is nice for people missing Himeko. Jade may begin HP drain niche. Usually units which began new niches like Topaz/Boothil had not fully cooked kits. I'm sure better HP drain / AoE FuA units will come out.

On hp drain, we already have blade and jingliu don't we? You're right tho the units that are opening niches tend to be of lower tier when another one is releasing soon enough after them

@@meepmeep-mw3lqYes, Jade can be fun to play with Blade. However, you will need high investment into Blade eidolons, sig LC, artifacts, as well as getting E1 Jade, good artifacts for her as well. Otherwise damage will be mediocre, due to Blade falling off in damage / element mismatch. It's the same issue as with RRAT team, fun to play, but requires high investment to pull off.

I don't think shes an AOE Topaz, The more enemies 1 character attack (Debt collecter) The more she does Follow Up, I don't really see how they are alike, Besides there ult where the next 2 follow ups deal more damage

I'm surprised you didn't go into how she interacts with Himeko and Herta. I feel like that could've been interesting

I think jade/Jing yuan dual DPS is a very underrated comp that people aren't thinking of. Her giving him speed is pretty huge and he gives her stacks pretty well

Xueyi and Sushang mentioned as the F2P team are very meh if you don't have Jade's E1, especially Sushang. The simplest and relatively cheap composition is double Erudition for Pure Fiction with Herta, Himeko, Argenti or Jing Yuan (Jingliu, Blade and Firefly are also an option, even though they're Destruction), largely depending on enemy weaknesses, with a generic amplifier and a sustain, or two amplifiers if you want to go sustainless. Triple Erudition is also possible though isn't that great, especially for newer or F2P players since you'll fairly often want another Erudition or two for the other half. Having E1 helps tremendously with purely single-target situations and opens up a lot of additional options with Topaz, Ratio or Counter-focused characters, as well as any other characters that just attack a lot (Aventurine, Gallagher, maybe Seele, and also one very F2P-friendly character if you pay attention to leaks), but at E0 Jade loses a large chunk of her DMG and follow-up frequency outside of the double Erudition teams which are useful almost exclusively in Pure Fiction.

Just got Clara on the Standard Banner ! So happy, even though i do not know what to do with her as i am desperately trying to just 1-star Pure Fiction 3/4 and lack resources for now 😭 But as mentioned in the video, it seems possible in the next few patches the enemies will either be very fast or in high number (more than 5 ?) and that would favor Followup-Counter (and DoT ?) teams, with March becoming Follow up as well.

Pairing with Arlan for the lols Will we ever get an hp based support to negate his ramp up time, or just be able start at low health in challenges?

Do you need Jade’s signature light cone or can you do without it?

After her release Jade & Blade team comp is the most skill point positive amongst other team existing right now. Slow Jade & Blade is just a thing after that funnily enough, Jade can gives her buff (duration tied to her turn like RM) to Blade which also gives 30+ speed and that can actually replace SPD boots on Blade. Because of this team is also very skill point positive one of the best buffer of Blade that is Bronya (specifically speedy Bronya) can actually go ham on her buffing. The only thing we need right now is a 5* Lynx that have the supporting role like Huohuo but for HP and directing aggro.

I’m sure someone’s mentioned it by now, but Clara in this team will love the speed buff as she’ll now be using her *full* AOE skill for both energy and Jade charges - in theory, Clara will end up around 120 speed for free while still playing her normal build

E1 Jade with Seele sounds insane

tbh Im trying to get 130 or 160 speed on topaz and go for E1 Jade and swap her out with dr ratio so I have a FUA Team that is good in AS,PF and MOC

Would you say Jade, Silverwolf, Sparkle and Fu Xuan is a option? Because i dont want to level Xuevi xD

Good pair with Yunli but Yunli don't need SPD buff from Jade (skill 2) because Yunli is a counter atk

Here's hoping Jade existence means we will get a Harmony that support like Genshin Furina, which gives buffs based on HP fluctuations within party 🙏
