I appreciate you always having gameplay in the background of your videos. I like seeing what cool ways I can explode the entire screen instead of only seeing PoB numbers, even if the latter is where the magic is made.

Played this last league, it was tanking juiced Crimson Temple t16, decent boss killer, it wasn’t fast on single target dps but decent enough with it’s layer of defenses

Just wanted to chime in here to say that a few leagues ago I started as CF champ sort of following this as a guide but also doing a bit of my own thing. It is a great map blaster and a fantastic league starter. If you're new, or just looking to try it out for the first time, I can heavily recommend it.

@@soulstealer5625 If it's your first league skip it, there is quite a bit of juggling of "leveled" gems and your leveling expeirence will be signifcantly slower until you do the conversion around act 5 or act 6 depending when you can get the 4ls. But once you convert you're pretty much set.

Love this build Tri, seems with helm have piercing mod + returning projectiles made my build super OP. I have a question. So I took off cast on hit + Molten. Does linking Blood rage with swift affliction and life tap produce more damage? I aslo swapped allocates to Charisma + enlighten so I could run malevolence/pride/determination/banner 😂

Played CF Champ last league as a starter and it was smooth sailing straight through reds, might do it again this league.

I plan to league start with it and never switch! But with some twist on -dmg nodes -1cluster for block nodes on sffhc. Sounds like "fun" time. Thx for doing best job here on yt with guides

Appreciate this build. Even after I delayed my leaguestart by three days I managed to finish endgame atlas this weekend and after gearing up I can blast through maps in a breeze. Really getting those gains farming essence, harvest and exped with this, can't wait to respec in legion with deli orbs.

@@asr9582 Nowadays the economy is kinda screwed up because of the league mechanic printing currency, but I do recommend that you focus on farming essences in low-tier maps until you can get a decent bulk to sell. When you manage to be better-geared you can engage in farming harvest + essences in T14+ maps (alongside eldritch altars)

non-bait, first time trying and my god does this thing pop off in mapping once properly geared, especially with the new charms... 50%+ onslaught effect and immunity to phys reflect from two charms thanks again for a good guide TPB

Great guide bro, started league today and I watched the 6 hour vod, just go to blood aqueducts and I made the swap and I get shlioink in my pants when I clear.

Amazing guide and i love this build, just swapped to wand and a shield build but i do very little dmg on single targets, i use a lvl3 wand for the +1 phys if this is the reason? Thanks

so i leaguestarted it, 82 atm, doing fine in yellow maps, however i still feel squishier than i was hoping i would. i got the fourth vow, saffel, haemo, all res maxed, 30k armor, yet my max physical is only 10k? i die very often because of this in combination with CF activation. Any ideas?

I wanna give this build a shot since I saw you playing it in the past and it looks really fun. Last league I played your Cold dot elementalist transitioning into Ignite Vortex and doing the 80% Deli Scarabs farm. Do you think this build is better for that farm than Ignite Vortex? And how would the Setup change/at what gear stage I could do 80% deli farm? Thanks for the sick Guides and Videos you doing.

Not better, but seeing as vortex got giga nerfed, you might as well lol.

I'm doing a walking simulator version of this, looking very promising. I love DoT builds, they're just so cozy and satisfying to play.

Hey TPB, any comment on ascendency choice? What are the pros of using Scion / Gladiator? I tried to search online but on paper it just seems to be dot multi and explode (gladiator)

Couldnt find anything on killing the Bandits on maxroll. I assume its a Kill All given the use of those clusters, but parts of the early game were addressed too quickly. Other than that, sweet guide dude.

If you use the life cost swap of the warlock tree would that be worth the change away from needing so many slots with lifetap?

In demand, would guess around 50c for first few days (same as cold iron point in 3.19-3.21, havent played Tota much)

i wanna farm essence and beasts on white tier maps, do you think this can take essences fine even if they have like 7 of them in white tier maps ?

Swapped to this in crucible after my ls didn't go so well and was a blast. Now here again thinking if I want to ls this instead of a 30 div swap 😅

Loved this build in crucible, but god the bossing is rough

So the trick this league is: what can we do without in order to leave the boot gem sockets empty, to get the 25% movespeed from the Maji node on the new ascendancy?

I always start Bonezone Slayer but ill probably swap into this once I can put currency into it and am level 100

Do you get consistant explosions from Haemophilawith only 52% chance to bleed? Seems low, or do you get other chances to bleed we don't see on PoB?

Yes, explosions are pretty much constant because of the sheer spam of kinetic blast applying bleed, IIRC

what wildwood ascendancy are you going with this build?

Can you level with spectral helix as opposed to spectral throw? I like helix way better, thanks!

This build or LA Deadeye / TR will be better at Ultimatum/Harvest + zooming at maps? I like to play with builds for a long time and collect a large amount of currency on them

If you want to keep playing the same character and never stop gearing , La is a great start , you can farm currency on it and then try to swap to TR. This build is really solid , easy to play and very tanky considering the clearspeed , but not so much room for gearing it ( compared to TR and other bow buils)

I noticed in your POB that you get an abyss jewel which gives us increased damage over time against maimed enemies, but my big brain can't figure out how you are maiming enemies

Question guys, on the End Game build, lifetap is replaced by empower on CF. How do you proc Adrenaline?

Why no using 6 link CF? If we have not enough life cant we take nodes in tree to reduce cost of skills? Even if we cant, link 6th socket with reap isnt good idea? We can significantly boost self cast reap for free or i am missing something? Thanks so much for the detailed guide btw

There is no 6th link for CF that improves it's damage. Adding Reap as 6th link is what you do when you want to get as much dmg as possible for killing ubers and such, but that will also increase Reap's lifecost and require storm brand and a different wand than Poet's Pen. The point of Poet's Pen setup is to make it a very comfortable playstyle.

the cost of life is too high on CF. the only link you can add is lifetap, which has 300% cost multiplier

Could exsanguinate of transmission be a good / better alternative to kb / spectral throw? I've only ran the build last league with the CIP spectral throw setup so I'm unsure

The reason KB and spectral throw are good is because they can hit one target multiple times, getting the Corrupting fever stacks up faster and also keeping them up. Reap and Exsanguinate are used as additional damage sources as their DoT components stack with CF

But you can do it the other way around and do a Exsanguinate build with CF as a nice little bonus. Or if you want to focus on CF but want alternatives, you can do it with a Tornado Shot Champion (I've played this before and it was very nice) and I've seen a Scion with Guardian/Gladiator nodes that used Cyclone cast while channeling + Desecrate + Volatile dead and a 6-link high level Corrupting fever (empower + skin of the lords + dragonfang's flight) which seemed fun but probably not a very league start -friendly setup

You prolly need a dedicated build for that OR invest as much as in a dedicated build. Just talking out of my ass here tho

Just swapped from cyclone to this at lvl 93 after having already had a fairly easy time completing my atlas and getting 2 void stones. Build is fun and fast albeit can’t kill map bosses yet. One thing though, it would be very helpful to talk about crafting more, the max roll guide is lacking on this too. As a new player the crafting is so daunting in this game, and the current market prices for even the corrupting swap/mid game gear is 5+ divines per armour. The amulet and rings and body armour were like 50div last night when I checked. I imagine you can craft for cheaper, but crafting is so confusing and the PoE discord is generally unhelpful with crafting.

13:20 You say phys taken as fire dmg but the stats on the helmet is fire dmg taken as phys dmg am I missing something?

hey guys. how do you make the flasks "use when charges reach full" condition?

Got everything (gear wise and gems placement) except the Poet's Pen for the mid game setup in your POB and its a blast, nearly 1shots everything so far (tier 14maps). BUT when i went to the Searing Exarch quest (tier 11+ influence) i was dealing like 0 dmg to him, failed the encounter eventually. Am i doing something wrong or this setup is not good for that kind of bossing?

Same here... i get stuff mid tier (poet, doryani, haemophilia, resist 76/75/75/26, 3 jewel dmg). I'm 1 shooting everything in map clearing T16 but the Boss omg its so so hard... i can't kill them ! Seems im dealing no damage on boss. If someone know what wrong we are doing please explain to us !

What charms do you suggest for CF?

Can i swap to kinetic blast /corrupting on early? i thinks swap at lv 70 it's to long for me xD

Anomalous Kinetic Blast will be hard to find in 3.23

@@desmondnyenes9658 I did and it did not feel great. Since you need to get Sanguimancy at same time you lose mana - also for aura reservations etc..

How do you squeeze-in 3 auras (pride, determination, malevolence) AND the herald of purity? I find I can't get enough mana reservation reduction between amulet anointment and skill tree passives. I need to use a few jewels with reservation efficiency.

@@davislanghoff2802 I did! Getting mana reservation efficiency on the helmet did the trick. You can also make use of a charm if you spec into Primalist.

Why do you use 'physical damage from hits take as chaos damage'?

I have taken all points out of the part of the tree that lowers cost of life on skills and still cant get corrupting fever to proc adrenaline on one cast without lifetap support on it instead of empowered support. Can anyone give me an idea as to why?

Am I right, it takes 23 regret points to remove the axe and dual-wield nodes as well as some other passives from the start of the tree when we are swapping to kb/cf?
