Finally someone’s gentle with the student. Most instructors on yotube hit their students hard for no reason lol

Maybe theyre just showing the fast pace, ad most of the time the student is on either the same or a little lower level of the intstructor so there would be no reason to go easy on them lol

@@quantum6877 disagree it's all for youtube effect and views. I find in those videos I slow down the videos and see instructors missing steps...this is ego not actual love for teaching.

Idk if I’m a fan of that last one, take down but he could definitely pull guard really easy. I know you could get points for the take down, but I would be more worried about the position after the take down or I wouldn’t go for it.

Ahh You should be ready to pass a neutral guard especially 2 points up …. Your not landing in a deep x or something we’re the guard where defensively losing 55 % to 45% (ie some deep x guard pre loaded)..I’m trying to be nice but It’s like boxer worrying about throwing a Cross.. if your not a jitz or wrestler etc then I understand

I've got a bunch of joint problems (born that way) and so I'm a little bummed that I can't really do BJJ without really bad injuries. Trying to get back to it but the last one was bad. Trying yoga to help but I wake up feeling 80 years old. If anyone has any experience with this type of thing I'll hear you out. Thanks

Why is the best if they end up automatically in a closed guard or half guard? Going to side control or north south would be better right?

If you do not know how to deal with the closed guard, then I have to agree with you. But if you do know how to deal with it, it should not be a problem at all.

All that staff is ok only for 1v1 and on soft mats. Better to learn takedowns without going down, or standing on legs by finishing opponent. If we see this as Martial art and not as a Sport. There are no points, no belts. Only you and your enemy. You are dead or alive. That is all matters. Going down is bad also for 1v1, because your opponents may have knife, that he may take and use. That is why throw, and fast attack to turn him off, or run. But anyways nice show.
