I use the tack it method and as long as I put 2 thin coats and let it comply dry, it works out perfectly!!

Whenever I use tack it method I personally prefer the Tack it glue. Great results each time. I personally am not all that keen using glitter glue when doing tack it method. Regardless I appreciate you showing us different methods. Enjoy your tutorials. Thanks

I like e6000 and brush on then hit with a hair dryer. Do that 3-4 times. Then apply glitter and burnish. I dry just until turning clear. The multiple layers seems to make sure every spot is covered.

Alison, I see many more single coats of glitter in my future! So glad you experimented with this. I tried E600 on a pen today with the tack it method...totally works.

I did the tack it method yesterday and burnished my glitter with 91% alcohol on a paper towel instead of my hands. It worked sooo well. I’m going to let it sit for a few days, then seal it before adding BT.

First of your videos I have had the privilege to watch. It will not be my last! I do have a recommendation for the Tack-It method. I have been using tack it method over a year now and feel very confident in my ability. What I noticed in your video is that you are only applying one coat of your glue. And that when you are brushing on the glue you're brushing until it dries. First, you should use at least three coats of glue to get complete coverage. Allow the glue to dry on its own or use a hair dryer, heater, or heat gun to speed the drying process. When you were brushing the glue as it was drying what you actually ended up doing was brushing off glue that had already dried which resulted in the spotting. I also recommend that you use half water half glitter glue or half water and half Tack-It over and over to dilute the solution for better coverage. Give that a try and I promise you will have 100% coverage of glitter on your tumbler every time.

How long do you let the GG or Tack-it hour dry before adding another coat?

I don't use tack-it over and over because it's just not a good quality glue. But I will definitely try doing more coats - just tough to do on a live stream!

Tack it is awesome I use it all the time with crystalac! I've NEVER had a problem. I see on fb lots of girls are having problems with their cups and they are using g.g. well I dont use gg and all my cups turn out fantastic and never had a customer call me with a problem either. Just thought I'd let you know. Have a great day🎈

The problem is that it never fully dries and is not a permanent glue. Glad it works for you though!

I caught most of the live but watching again lol.. I am now seriously worried about the cup I'm working on.. I did use the tack it over and over.. FINALLY Got a layer to lay nice.. It's beautiful, but you say it doesn't dry completely??.. Is there something I can put over it to maybe help it? E6000? Or the crystal glitter glue. I can't have this cup not being fully dry and ok in the end... Any advice I'd appreciate it greatly! TIA ☺️

How much does the e6000 smell? I caused an issue in my lungs with epoxy so I can't use it anymore. I'm avoiding all chemical smells. Does e6000 smell?

Do you always use glitter on the tumblers? I am not much into the glitter component and that may be what is holding me back … all videos include the glitter 😳😬
