One thing I've learned about cooking meat in a crock pot is that you don't need that much liquid. The meat will create a lot of liquid without adding any broth and will be much more flavorful. I cook pork butt with just a rub and no broth whatsoever, and it comes out great.

That’s the truth. Ground beef was almost $8.00 per pound at my store last week! Outrageous prices but they’re going to get even higher.

I can hardly afford hamburger, it's ridiculous. I'm a diabetic and rely on protein, but that's hard to do when all I can afford is pasta and rice to make a filling meal.

The taco seasoning threw me completely off but I will say this look kind of good! I hope you washed your meat this time! ❤️

Wash the meat? That’s ineffective & only spreads bacteria around. No one recommends doing that anymore.

Taco seasoning has salt and that'll flavor the meat well and since I'm sure she's having taco salad with it that is a great choice..

Either that pot is 200 gallons or those roasts are tender loins…. When I put two roasts in my pot, I have very little room left for veggies.
