I have “a lot” to say. Video is 7 minutes long comparing all 7 products pros and cons. You are probably the BEST reviewer on KZread. I wish all channel was like yours. Probably you and project farms are the only ones I’ve watch. Your video are probably better as you straight up gives numbers instead of showing each products. Straight to the point. Honestly best KZread channel out there is. Keep up the good work. I’ll be buying all my vacuum n recommendations from your affiliate links.

Honestly, I wish he'd make his video's a little longer, explaining more of his thoughts on each device in each category, and also keeping his charts, and points up on the screen for longer. Constantly have to pause the video to look at, and compare the specs on each machine. Also, His video's are so good, I want them to last a bit longer. Project Farm gets it right, In my opinion. His videos are longer, without feeling bloated or full of useless information.

@@Fearmylogic i guess everybody have their style. yes the points on screen maybe should be longer? but instead of points, i rather him give specs over points. but then again, there's always his spreadsheet for more "detail" specs. I not too much of a fan of project farm cuz it's detail, but i don't like him reading off numbers. Too repetitive. Again not dissing him, just not my personal taste. But vacuum war is fairly short, maybe a little longer video like you say would help alot.

Attention auto detailers. The best hands down for vehicles is the Bissell Pet Pro (the purple one ). Suction is great, long hose that can reach a cross car, cleaning head is smaller in size. I bought one a while back according to this video. I'm glad I did because I was about to get the clean slate hoover or little green. Glad I came across this video. Oh, and btw, a drill brush is a must. You can't depend on manual scrubbing and your pet machine brushes for every spot or stain. I pre-treat most times with carpet bomber by P&S ( best carpet cleaner on Amazon ) then mist water and proceed with a drill brush and then extract, works every time.

A tip I learned was to mix the cleaning solution separately and get a pump sprayer or spray bottle. That allows you to apply the cleaner directly to spots. For large rooms it's quicker to apply to the whole area before starting the process of cleaning. Thank you so much for comparing these mini machines 😎 it'll help me when considering what to buy (and hopefully save me money)

I've been looking for quite some time to buy a Bissell. Nothing is more frustrating than getting something rather expensive and get less than an average product. So you go to reviews and there are people who keep talking and talking, just saying tons of stuff without saying anything important, and if it is important then I would probably just forget about it due to the amount of rubbish and then they ask for a subscription, Jesus, as if this wasn't enough. Then this video arrived. Comparing products on the same level, doing this as if you have OCD and significantly lowering the amount of differentiation between tests. Perfect rating, straight away to the details and letting us know when you had other thoughts. Thank you, that's how people should do their reviews, I've immediately subscribed and I don't even remember if you asked for it. Thanks again!!

I appreciate you mentioning QC issues! They are very important to me when making a purchase decision bc I absolutely don't want to deal with any quality problems!
I have an older dog who isn't afraid to make a mess of our carpets. I have tried many of the products you reviewed in this video with varying success. I recently picked up a newly released model, the Hoover CleanSlate Plus and found it to offer some nice improvements to the genre. Recommend taking a look at it at some point!
Love your channel, your approach, and your brevity! You spend extra time and effort, to save us time and effort! One suggestion: keep the products in your charts in the same order, left to right. Your videos are fast, and viewers can track better if, say, the Hoover is always third from the left. Thanks!
Thank you so much for this honest head to head review! I wish there were more people like you still doing comprehensive reviews, rather than all the superficial garbage out there that just rehashes specs from Amazon.

My family had the same issue. We've had a slightly older version of the spot-bot for a few years, and it works rather well. It's small and easy enough to set up and use. It can sometimes require repositioning and repeated use on larger or more challenging stains, but in most cases it works really well. Bissel makes a pet-specific carpet formula that helps with odors, and breaking down those sorts of organic compounds. Being able to sort of set it and forget it is really nice, especially since it means no kneeling down on the floor and manually scrubbing. Definitely a great option for anyone with mobility concerns.
Being thorough yet concise takes special talent, and you have mastered this. Besides being precise in your measurements and comparisons, you edit each video in a way that is pleasant to watch without wasting viewers' time. A final "plus:" Your voice is very nice. Thank you.

The feature which influenced my choice of the Hoover Spotless unit for cleaning up dog accidents was the hose cleaner, which isn’t mentioned in this review. There is a port in the side of the unit the hose with head removed fits into which circulates water / solution through the hose to rinse it clean. I found the most convenient way to use it was to just use water in the tank, putting the cleaning solution in a separate spray bottle. I wet the area with the unit, spray on the solution from the bottle, use the nozzle or a separate brush to work it in, then rinse and vacuum up with the unit. There is less wasted cleaning solution that way, I’m able to do the final rinse with plain water and the unit can be drained and dried between uses.

The hoover spotless looks exactly like the Vax spotless which is RUBBISH! I've only had mine 18 days and i'm taking it back. The same thing happened to me where the dirty water tank leaks. Its not a good cleaner AT ALL.
I've had the Hoover spotless for about 2 years now. I ran into the issues mentioned about the trigger and leaking which peeved me the most after cleaning. But yesterday the hose tore up, felt that the material was thin and cheap. I purchased Bissell pet eraser that has a motorized brush and no tube, rechargeable battery. Let's see how that goes.
I had an older version of the Little Green. It was alright, but the cleaning attachment ultimately cracked where it joined the hose - probably because of all the pressure you need to apply to get it to work well. It dripped cleaning water everywhere after that. When I moved into a place with hardwood floors I just gave it away. Not worth the effort to fix for occasional spot cleaning on area rugs.
I feel like this is a trailer for a much longer video. this helped me choose which indepth video to watch on a particular model...but there is no deeper. I would love to see more long format content of yours! not often I buy new vacuums, but you have been helpful before and I came right back for carpet cleaners! Thankyou for all your dedication and work :) much appreciated!

Thanks so much! You tube, or maybe its the viewers, don't really favor longer videos, so I just try to keep it at a safe length. Thanks for the input.
Thanks for the great video. As a condo dweller my goal isn’t just spot cleaning, I want to know which of these are best for general use cleaning: area rugs, sofa upholstery, dining chairs, other upholstered items. For this, I want to know the specific brushes available and how wide or narrow they are and how dry the item is when done. Like most apartment dwellers, I have no room for a large upright machine so the small cleaners are the only choice. Perhaps a future video?
Just want to say thank you for posting such detailed rigorous tests you do. I watched your video on best carpet cleaner the Bissell Pro Heat performed the best. This is by far the best review i have ever seen, i watched through the entire thing!! Made up my mind with this just one video. Thank you!
Thanks for the excellent reviews! You've influenced my past vacuum purchases. But here's a low cost option for stain clean up. Particularly pet messes. I'm a pet fosterer... I know messes. I use a 2 gallon wet dry vac for better suction (using the wet option) and a squeeze bottle filled with cleaner. Best thing I've found is oxygen cleaner and hot water, especially for urine stains. With good suction, not much scrubbing is needed. Just lightly saturate, then quickly suction. Repeat as needed. Suction well. Hope this is useful.
Always feels good when the ridiculous research I do on stuff I buy ends up actually being worth something haha. I can attest to the top pick being excellent, cleaned the sofa my mother in law gave us with it and it looks great.

I have a bissel, spotcleaner, 6 yrs old now that was such a boon when my grandson was little. He used to get told off at home for spilling drinks etc, but he knew nanny had a little machine that would get the mess up quickly and as he got older he would run and fetch it himself and ask me to fill it and switch it on. Not sure if it’s still working as I haven’t needed it for quite a while, but it paid for itself very quickly with three cats and a grandchild around!
I've had the spotbot for a few months now. I have a puppy who's made quite a few messes. The auto scrub is far from perfect but is nice to leave there. I normally leave it while doing other things then followup with the hose.

I have a 15 year old Little Green. What I've noticed is that now they are using way less quality parts like the hose on my machine is the anti-kink type. They dont have that anymore. Compared to mine, the new one (I compared it to a friends) has way less suction and way less power. You do have to remove the hose from time to time to clean it out, but that isn't that hard. It's a pain to fill the soap tank, but other than that, it has lasted through 2 elderly dogs so I cant complain.

Ive gone through 2 spot bots so far. Initial quality and cleaning was superb on each. The first one randomly just dumped the clean water tank onto the ground while it was sitting there and would no longer hold water after that. It worked so well though I bought a second one. After a few months the second one seemed like the suction on the automatic part died off. Using the "deep clean" (longer cycle, more solution) seemed to pull up a larger percentage of the solution used still. Eventually the hose on manual part came apart though. Dont neglect the hose cleaning part of the process!

Excellent review. I think in particular this review highlights one critical element - the amount of actual effort involved moreso than the machine being some kind of miracle cleaner.. I think it's the reason why you find dozens of these machines for sale that have only been used once or twice.
That's mine, it's great, 4 years of use and still going strong , I use it at my clients stairs, which is a lot of hard work for tge machine, it always does great. Very convenient for any spot, unlike the circular motion of the other cleaner.
My solution for spot cleaning is to manually apply a solution of Quick 'n Brite, then vacuum it up with a Milwaukee cordless shop vac. (Don't forget to remove the air filter when using a shop vac for wet applications.) Maybe you should do a review of cordless shop vacuums to see which is best?

I've had great luck with the older Bissell Spotbot. I have a dog that has puked several times and had diarrhea once (that was disgusting). 90% of the house is hard floor. Guess where the dog goes to puke.... yes, obviously the carpet. After some experimenting I've found the following works best: 1. Spray the stain liberally with enzyme based pet cleaner. Doesn't have to be anything special, I get it at Kroger. Let sit for a couple minutes while doing step #2. 2. Fill the sportbot with hot water, no cleaner. 3. Run the longer 6 minute cycle on the stain. 4. Use the hose to suck up as much water as possible. 5. The machine must be cleaned or it will stink! To clean I hold the hose nozzle under the sink with the machine turned on and suck clean water into it until the tank is full. I do this 3-4 times. My Spotbot is about 5 years old and hasn't had any quality issues. It has also amazed me with some of the stains it has managed to get out. Just my experience and your video was great!

Great and detailed video. Thanks for being so consistent. Do you like the Bissell spot clean pet pro or bissell spot clean 3624 better?
I"ve owned many and by far the biggest issue is that about a year into owning it, the hose becomes brittle and cracks from being bent around the machine all the time. You can replace the hose for around $30, but the second hose, if you can get it to work at all, has a much shorter fail time. I'd suggest you store them all in a closet for a year and see which hoses crack on removal. Also, I dont know if they have fixed this yet, but the green machine... the "dirt" you suck up used to run through the engine, making it fail fast. Spot clean was ok, but had the hose issue also. The annoying thing with that one was that the dirty tank was not easy to rinse out. There was always a wad of gunk left behind that no one could remove and it smelled. We currently have one that you dont have listed. It has a clean tank of about 8 ounces and boy is that ever annoying.

Yep. Had to replace my hose for my spot clean. The newer one seems to be of cheaper quality and more malleable. It still leaks solution though. It seems the hose assembly is at fault. I've placed mine inside a car oil drain pan (the circular one).

Seems to be the strain the hose has while put away. Wonder if not storing the hose in it's intended place holder and just coiling it looseley would fix the issue.

Thank you for the video! The problem when going by reviews is, there are very clever bots programmed to make convincing reviews, just my 2 cents. Again, great video!

A bot is probably leaving good reviews, so if he looks only for bad reviews for qc issues, he can avoid that skew hopefully.
This was a very thorough review!! Thanks!!
Hey, I love your videos. They're extremely thorough and impartial. Can you do a review of the Makita 40v vacuum please?
I can agree with the review and the Bissell Pet SpotClean being the winner. I have the regular Bissell SpotsClean and it's done a great job for pet messes. I have OCD so when I use it I go a bit over board on making sure the area is super clean, but it definitely gets the job done.

Do you use the pet cleaning solution provided. Or do you mix solutions in your machine?

Do you have the purple or black one?
I have a different version of the little green machine and it’s not bad. I don’t think the suction is the best, it does leave the carpet fairly wet (never had a different unit to compare it to though so not sure what the “normal” wetness level is here), but it has cleaned everything I’ve thrown at it over the last couple of years and no major leakage issues

Is yours the white one with the green tanks?

@@scpatl4now sorry just saw this! mine is the pro heat version of the little green machine. Its green with grayish tanks, and taller than the one featured in the video. I haven’t seen a white one!

@@shelliebean I have the white one. I think that is older than the pro heat. It does not heat the water, but I even used it last night. Still works well
Omg thank you so much for this review, because for 2 weeks I've been reading reviews trying to see which one to buy, and I was seeing alot of reviews about leaking...after watching your video I have made a decision 😊😊

I appreciate this so much. Can I used a spot cleaner to shampoo my entire sofa? My dog peed on two cushions 😔

I'm sorry - I haven't tested upholstery so I really can't say. Check what the manufacturer recommends.
This is a REVIEW
Thank you for the excellent and informative content. Much appreciated!
So helpful!!! Thank you for doing this!! I have a Rug Doctor Portable Spot cleaner (looks just like the pet version and cost $250 about 4-5 years ago). It’s useful but the dirty water tank can leak!! Also if you tilt it when it’s on the dirty water can spray everywhere - a fine mist of wet dirt or pet urine or whatever you’ve sucked up. I have to keep a towel underneath it during and for a few hours after use cause the dirty water does leak out. Also lost suction cause I dropped the head and a small piece of plastic off the clear suction head chipped off. I tried to order the hose attachment replacement (you have to order the entire thing) but the price went up from $25 to $50 during COVID with a ridiculous shipping price of $15. I ended up getting a small but lightly Bissell upright carpet cleaner (the pet one during Black Friday a few years ago for $79, I’m a small person and it weighs about 11 lbs if I’m correct?) and it cleans soo well, although it’s for big areas. I’m able to clean all the carpeted areas of the house with it. I still have the portable rug doctor and will get it repaired since it just became more affordable (Rug Doctor dropped the price for the part and adjusted the over inflated shipping costs to a reasonable price). Thanks again for your opinion!!

I saw another video showing that the Hoover Spotless actually has a self cleaning hose port, I wish we could have seen that, bc that's a pretty cool and unique feature most caret cleaners don't have.
Love the video! Thank you for such a thorough review!! Do you have a review on the TAB R6 cleaner and how to it compares? Toying with this and the pet pro… hoping your review can help make our decision 🙂 Thanks again!

Thank you!!!!!! I’m speechless at your dedication!!!
Excellent video! I wasnt sure which one i should get Bissell little green or Bissell pet spot clean and was really leaning towards little green but now i know. Much Thanks!
I have the Hoover spotless! That leaking happens when there is too much soap in the collection tank. I saw in your video that the collection tank was very foamy. So I make sure to not use too much soap or dump/rinse the collection tank when it starts to fill with foam.
