I've played a bunch of "haunted" Spongebob ".EXE" Games but this Spongebob Creepypasta Horror Game really suprised me! Today we are playing SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS TREASURE HUNT. A game that got suggested to me by my bro @ToadBup
"The file, spongebob-treasure-hunt.gba, was found on a hard drive in one of many abandoned Bunchy Soft offices. The game is obviously based on the show, Spongebob Squarepants, but the licensing of the game (by Nickelodeon or Nintendo) is ambiguous. No attempts at ripping files from the rom or modifying it in any way have proven successful but running it on its own standalone emulator manages to get it running. The game appears to be relatively late in development. As with other Bunchy Soft games, the game was left unfinished due to the company liquidating its assets and disappearing for unknown reasons."

If you're wondering, there's a bad ending to this where you don't collect all the golden spatula's. Basically after you beat the boss, It doesn't give you the final treasure but it shows a picture of spongebob with the following text "Spongebob had a Fun adventure today, but unfortunately, he didn't find all the treasure he was looking for!" The music then cuts out and it says "But that's okay, he found something better." Then it shows a completely red spongebob with a hollow face following with the screen glitching out

... i just realized, those treasure chests are not the only exits. Some of the level architecture suggests alternate exits by jumping on enemies and going over the chests

Fun fact: This game is only partially finished, as there were levels where you could play as Patrick, but was scrapped as the creator didn’t like how the creepypasta community was turning out.

This is definitely one of the exe games ever
Guess this si the best "exe" games in general, just the real final boss is a bit random and kinda unfair, but then, had a ACTUAL level desing and mechanics. Just good.
