Was nice to see my hometown San Diego. Ya, it's an absolutely wonderful place to live. Not as nice as it was 30 years ago, but still amazing. Hey if you've not been to San Juan Capistrano, I highly recommend it. Right next to San Clemente, the trolley stops there.

Lived in California twice in the Pacific Coast, Northern Cal and San Diego love that State. Love the weather but it is expensive to live there. Did experience the wild- Fires of 2020 pretty scary, it’s that time again since it summertime now. Just relocated from Travis AFB, Fairfiled to San Antonio, Texas a new adjustment from living in the West Coast (PST) to Central Standard Time (EST)

Well, welcome to San Antonio,TX. I’ve lived there for 28 years and just moved to Tijuana a couple months ago. My goal is to live in San Diego in the near future. You’ll like the Tex-Mex food but you’ll hate the weather and allergies.Good luck!

Jeff your videos show such a flattering photo op of SoCal coast. 30 years in Montecito for me and I miss Cali. Your videos did not capture the summer FOG monster though, with the "June Gloom, May Gray and No Sky July." I'll bet this trip made you miss SoCal too?

Don’t need air conditioner in SoCal if you live by the water like we do. We have dry heat no humidity, it’s always perfect wether here!

You covered only about 60 miles, 25 of which are military base Camp Pendleton.

Love Dana Point! Went there a number of times for school trips and with family. It is a beautiful and peaceful town. Wish Huntington Beach made the list. :( Grew up going to HB, including Bolsa Chica and Sunset, and loved any chance to go down there for bonfires or to hang out and relax. There is also a lot to do, and it is the official Surf City USA.

La Jolla was definitely the place to live if a certain type of Hispanic community.

God always makes sure there are a lot of fish in the ocean. He wants us to eat fish just like most animals eat fish.

You missed Avalon on Catalina Island, which is unique and fabulous. Also, badly mispronounced San Onofre.
