Its the bilge of one of the Boathouses.
I recommend Corner Pizza and for a Beer the Regal Seagull, and for fine dining Solterra Winery & Kitchen, not the best beach access though for a beach town. Encinitas is right next door and they also have a pretty happening vibe along with the small town of Solano beach all right in the same area I went to Pizza Port a few times and I enjoyed Encinitas Fish shop and really like Las Olas Mexican Restaurant in Cardiff.

Agreed! I grew up very close to Carmel and it and Big Sur are my top favorites north of San Diego!

@@successinsandiego Lived in San Diego 8 years WONDERFUL at La Jolla coves all the time....Carmel/Monterey/Point Lobos/Big Sur......SUPERB!!
