That's just one guy, Yasumasa Koyama who makes those sound effects. He has worked on Fate, SAO, fire force, slime Isekai and many more. When you hear a mechanical like heavy bass sound effect, it's likely him

The season and fillers between s1 and s3 are below average. Not all of SAO are trash and carried by animations and sound effects but i respect your opinion. Imo, the one anime that got carried by animation is Demon Slayer.

@@Lucydity_ I feel it's like that: -Aincrad: Good introduction to the story, Kirito and Asuna feel like an actual well written relationship, side-character are ok, death and Kirito character development is good, villain is cool even tho have weird motive -Alfeim: Utter shit, Asuna being useless, the cousin is the least interesting member of Kirito's entourage and the villain is shit, not really any hype moment -Gun Gale: Really good, it feels like a thriller with the mysterious killer and the gun/light saber bring something new -Fillers: okayish, nothing hype apart from Yuki's heartbreaking story but cool for a MMO fan -Alicization/War of the Underworld: the best part yet, combat is new with how they "awakenen" their weapon, a new world, Alice and Eugeo are great main characters, the knights and other side characters are good, villain are ok and pose actual threat, final battle is really great, the fact Kirito is barely in it isn't even felt with how good the side characters are Overall, really good but the reputation is brought down by the 2nd arc that is honestly one of the worst i saw in anime/manga

I really wish every anime with fighting bothered to have sfx as good as SAO, FF and the Fate series. Imagine if Gojo's domain expansion had great sfx? It would make the scene even better.

Yeah the sfx for the domains in jjk are meh. Only one that's good is probably sukuna's in s1. They don't need to be bass boosted like fate or FF but at least a unique sfx for each of them.

I like how subtle and chill this anime is.

Fate always hits the moments perfectly with nicely added sfx, this with the dialogues playing alongside it becomes eargasmic.

Fun fact. Not all fate series are done by ufotable. Other than the main stay night series its done by cloverworks/a1 productions. Just shows how good and flexible the artstyle and animation these two studios can put out.

Im not a big fate reader or fan but i heard from fans that compared to the novels, ufotable's pacing are too dragged out and slow while characters aren't as fleshed out. And ngl i also felt a bit bored watching the main stay night series other than its fights

@@mihaik130not really. Fate and Type-moon has always been an extreme passion project for ufotable. Demon Slayer might be a more popular series nowadays, but typemoon has always been their passion

In all honesty if they can use the s1 artstyle again but make the animation more fluid like in s2 (some parts of s2 i guess) it can be on par with ufotable. Cuz although mappa is inferior in animation the choreography is far better than ufotable's. And its also bcs of the simpler artstyle animators have more freedom with the characters movements. Like how they can make the characters body or face deform to show how fast they are cuz with ufotable's high detail art animators can't really do that. Sukuna vs jogo and mahoraga was an example of that.

Sound design in fate series are all always so fire especially the karna vs seigfried fight It shook my home on my studio monitors

This was criminal how there was only 2 JoJo sfx and no Slime sfx in that vid

Since I’m not seeing anyone else mention it, the *"Bruh"* sound effect was changed but the *"Bruh"* is still audible in the anime *Fire Force* which sounds pretty awesome. I had no idea it was a sound effect until after I had finished both seasons.

One of my favorite animes when it comes to sound design is surprisingly Girls und Panzer. The 2v3 near the end of the movie or the first opening minutes of Das Finale 1 are just nothing but spine chillingly awesome sfx.

Ufotable did not a appear one second throughout this whole video. I don't get why people instantly associate Fate with Ufotable, they only animated the main universe 2 last routes and Zero. The Babylonia anime was done by CloverWorks.

Meanwhile One Piece keeps recycling the same sound effects every single episode, no changes in frequency or anything

@@Axelblaze1022 Is is not a lie at all though. They do use the same sound effects for the haki thing, giants footsteps, swords crossing, etc. Just be more cautious and you'll realize that. They sure are very economic when it comes to sound effects

I remember watching sao alicization and being like damn why does this season hit so much harder than the previous seasons and then I realized the sounds would vibrate my whole desk and wall everytime a decently powerful move was used and then I realized oh its hitting harder than previous seasons because its literally shaking my room.

BTW fate in this videos is not UFOtable works but (Cloverworks studio) . But Sfx well done mostly (Ultimo tope patada) in fate grand order . Damn sick

Fire Force has some of the best sound effects, off the top of my head. Really clean visuals, as well. I miss that show.

I hope you can do another of these, but that focuses on calmer moments. Sound designs are not only for the big fights
