Take me back to this year. Pre 9/11, Aaliyah is still alive, NSYNC is still together, Madonna is actually still good and didn’t lose her mind, Em was at his pique, Britney was still innocent, music was all actually iconic and ofc Im 12 years old a child best years of my life!

Crazy that all this songs can still be played on the radio 24 years later and still be better than anything out today 😂

Me too! That exact time frame! 97 was the year I was allowed to start watching MTV and listening to music other than what my dad put on. Started discovering what I liked. continued from then, along with finally getting out of the house making friends playing in the woods, building forts, and of course the video games of that era!!!

Every song played at the roller skating rink as my brother's and I spent our Friday nights roller blading, horsing around, meeting friends, having dance session off skates in the rink, eating all that roller rink pizza, and playing arcade games. Some of my best memories of my late elementary -early middle school days!
