BEST SNEAKER PAINT EVER?! | FLEXIBLE ACRYLIC PAINT REVIEW

Ойын-сауық

#sneakers #painting #customized
Who does it best? Is it @AngelusBrand, @Alpha6Corp, @JacquardProducts, or @TarragoSneakersCare??
What is my favorite paint of all time? Who makes the best sneaker paint in the world?!!
I get asked these questions ALL the time and I’ve been grappling with this ever since I started seeing brands other than Angelus making sneaker-specific paint. This isn’t your $1 Hobby Lobby acrylic paint; these paints are specifically formulated for the wear and tear of sneakers. So, in this video, we’re putting them through the ultimate battle!!! Who will be the last one standing?!
I know you all have your favorites, I want to hear what YOU think! What’s your favorite paint brand, leave it in the comments!
I have been painting on sneakers for over a decade now and my passion is to create long-lasting art on sneakers that will outlast the canvas itself!
Disclaimer: I have received complementary paint from each and every company mentioned in this video, many of the which I used for testing. However, at the point of posting this video, I am in no way affiliated or sponsored by any of these paint companies, the opinions in this video are entirely my own.

Hello everyone! I have spent WAYY too much time obsessing over how to properly compare these paints. It's almost unbelievable to me that it has taken me almost a year to put this video together. I have had great experiences with all of these paint brands and continue to work with them closely, I just want to share with you a neutral, as unbiased as possible opinion on how I think these paints perform. To my surprise, very few artists have spoken about this very extensively. Thank you for your support, please let me know which brand YOU think looks the best, let's chat.

@@CESTLAVIC Usually for a better gold that is more opaque something has to give. If we loaded it with more pigment it would possibly fracture. If we loaded it with something more opaque it wouldn't be as pearl/metallic gold. We usually suggest putting down a base close opaque layer then going over because of that. We will always pick the durability as our main concern. We could make a gold that basically cakes on but it would fracture and crack easily.

This is one of the BEST analysis of leather paints I've seen. Love the chart with scoring. Very helpful. Thank you for taking the time to do this and share with us. I've been looking for an alternative to Angelus paints that was a little less expensive. However, we get what we pay for. Painting leather is a different medium from almost any other material. Using paints specifically formulated for leather is the best way to go.

Well done! This is so informative! Thanks for sharing. We would be very interested to see a similar evaluation of the Jacquard Textile Colors. Despite the name, our Textile Colors are actually excellent on leather (as long as the surface is properly prepared before painting), with a formulation that isn't nearly as heavy and specialized as the Neopaque. By mixing with the Textile Color Super Opaque White, you can also create high-coverage opaque colors that are super vibrant. Also, we'd love to see a video comparing options for airbrushing. The Jacquard Airbrush Colors come ready to spray and perform excellently on leather! PS: tell us just one more time how much you HATE the Jacquard packaging lol But seriously, we do appreciate that feedback. It helps us identify areas where we can improve. So keep it coming!

If I do a custom job for a customer, I don't want the paint to crack and fleck off after a few weeks, especially on leather as the paint isn't absorbed as it just lies on the surface. How about priming the area with Acrylic Ghesso or some other type of acrylic primer.

It helps if you lay down a white base before applying a yellow to black leather. So you are not being fair to the way you use your paints.

😂 I feel you. But with the proper prep, proper paint, I think it could be acceptable.

Well, this was really helpful and an informative video. Your voice is pleased to listen to because you dont talk fast. Most of de videos on yt, everyone is talking so fast. That's makes it for me not very pleasant to watch. It is a bit hard to follow up and understand everything. My 1st language is not English So i really love your rest in speaking. 🫶🏻 I easily watched the entire video. And i learned a lot! Also, how you break everything down and all the examples. It was just relaxing and fun to watch. Thank you for putting all your time in this for us. I appreciate it :)

🤪 Thank you so much for watching! Lol I try my best to pronounce the words as well as possible. It's definitely hard when you're in front of a camera speaking 🤣
