My doctor said that it’s actually okay to wash your hair every other day. Especially if you have oily hair. If you have thick hair, maybe don’t wash it every other day but for fine and thin hair, I was told that it’s okay

My hairdresser told me since my scalp is naturally very oily (fine and thin as well) I should be washing every other day, anything less then that can clog your scalp and can cause dandruff, itch and hair loss, So since I've started doing it every other day my scalp doesn't get greasy as fast and when I would skip more then 2 days my scalp would be super itchy but not anymore. Some people can't train their hair to only be washed once a week (usually people with thick hair or dry scalps can do this fine) and that's okay! As long as you are using good/salon quality products and heat protection your hair will still stay healthy! Mines never been better :) Try washing more often and see if it helps, don't forget to use a clarifying shampoo once or twice a week!

Hi thanks for the tips! I have an oily scalp and also hair loss issues - so I was thinking Specifique Bain Divalent for Shampoo and Genesis for conditioner, but since you say conditioner targets roots would that then be a waste to get one that is for hair loss?

It depends, if your hair loss issues are caused from having damaged/fragile hair, Genesis conditioner can help with breakage and strength, but if your hair loss is from stress or other external factors, it may be less directly useful for your concern - but still a great conditioner :)

Suggestion: check out no sulfates fast hair growth shampoo.

and what about all the parabens and other bad stuff these products contain? i looked for Kerastase and it has 12 bad things, allergens and all according to my app that i am using for testing all products.

I would suggest you talk about fast hair growth fortified shampoo to double hair growth.

Tbh did you try the L’Oréal professional pure resource? It’s bomb in my opinion

I haven't but it looks right up my alley! I loved Sensi Balance before it got rebranded - but honestly you can't go wrong with any L'Oreal Professional in my mind.

I wish Kerastase shampoos were sulphate free because I have keratin in my hair!

I have the same problem 😂 I have friends who have keratin too and they have no issues using shampoos with sulphates, so maybe you should give Kerastase a go!

How is that possible? Hair follicles are technically dead and don’t produce oil, only live skin has sebum glands.

@@patpatmoomoo5524 I don't know the only thing I can see I have psoriasis in my hair so the scalp is dry and I have to use very gentle shampoos. And I've always had oily fine hair. But I can't use anything to drawing. The only thing I can use is two in ones that's the only thing that works for me

So hydrating makes it more oily? Then what's the point of hydrating it?

Hydration is for dry scalp or hair that does not have a lot of oil

She's hard to understand, waves the bottle so you can't read the label but she did put me on the right track. Thank you for that
