Thanks for the video. Recently got a new monitor (same as yours) and I came from an older Asus and couldn't get used to the color difference.. More like in certain games it felt way too dark but applying shadow boost to lvl 3 helped a lot!

I didn't know that Display Port is better than HDMI as I'm having a some kind of screen turning off and on for a split second using HDMI cable. Now that you mentioned on the video to use Display port than HDMI then I switched, and it didn't flicker or turn off and on. Thanks man. It really helps me today. You just a earn a subscription. Sir what HDMI to DisplayPort adapter did you get specifically? My 165hz Asus monitor keeps on flickering when trying to choose 120 or 144hz. I have 3050ti GPU but I don't have the DP port, only HDMI :/

@@ikdrph I didn't use any adapter, the DP calbe comes with my monitor inside its box. Maybe you can use an HDMI to DP adapter base on your monitors resolution.

Actually didnt know shadow boost was a setting thank you! Def subscribing, thanks again was wondering why my screen was dark on my 4k asus rog strix xg27uq after even putting the icc. This lighten the picture quality and brought the color out. Thanks again

Do you think it's ok to use the RTINGS calibration for the ASUS TUF Gaming VG28AQL1 if I have the VG28UQL1A? They don't have mine on their list apparently. It's essentially the same monitor just in 4K I believe.

I own two 22 inch, 1080p / 60Hz HD monitors made by Walmart (onn brand). I was messing with settings on the monitor (my laptop was connected and was showing a purple tinted screen). I found my monitors include: Standard, Movie, FPS, RTS, and EyeSaver aspect modes. I use one of the monitors for my Nintendo Switch and am currently trying the FPS aspect setting.

when i use the fps mode its automatically closes this setting. i don't know if this is what should happen

I just started the video, but wouldn't it matter what TYPE of monitor you use? Mine is LED BACKLIT for Example There is also LCD, OLED, QOLED, Etc.

There isnt a icc profile for the benq ex2510 :(

DP and HDMI can effect settings both ways, My Asus vg27q runs 165hz on HDMI 144hz on DP so check both ports settings before thinking youre maxed out on one and not the other.

I only play dayz then I asked people they said I need to go with a 1440p I bought the asus VGQLA1 what ever with 170hz 1ms and 1440p dayz looks sharp af BUT WITH MY 1080p I had like 280-200fps lowest 160fps ... now I have ONLY 90fps or max 170fps WHY ? I mean ofc 1440p is different but please how can I make it over 100 because I really feel it !!! Please help me if somebody can really help me and explain to me

my laptop uses an HDMI port and no DISPLAY port. can I do HDMI to DISPLAY port cable and get the maximum monitor hz? Laptop supports 165hz, monitor is rate 170hz, but using HDMI cable, I can only select 144hz.
