So we are hanging out in the Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle, and we wanted to show you one of our favorite urban hikes - it’s called the Queen Anne loop. Just a mile or two north of downtown Seattle is the Queen Anne hill and the Queen Anne loop is a series of streets that goes around the crest of Queen Anne hill. We are going to be showing you one variation that we like to do. Starting at McGraw, going down seventh, down eighth, around to Highland and then up Queen Anne. But there is a fuller loop that we do as well sometimes and you can do it in any direction. We just like to go from McGraw towards seventh just because that’s near our house, but there are a lot of different variations. Check the description down below for some of these variations and your options for doing the Queen Anne loop other ways. Chicken House on McGraw. Macrina Bakery on McGraw. Take a Right on 8th Ave west. The reason why we love the Queen Anne loop: it’s got great architecture; got amazing Seattle views; and you always meet fun animals like chickens, cat and dogs; good people watching as well. So come along, check it out and hope you enjoy it. 8th curves and becomes Highland. Rainbow the cat. So that’s the Queen Anne loop. Hope you enjoyed the video.

This is great! I just moved to Seattle and can't wait to get out and explore. This route seems to bypass the actual hill itself, which I appreciate 😉 Thanks for sharing, I hope the chickens are still there!
