Thanks for the comment, Walt! The new seat shipped out from Sargent today. Can't wait to share my thoughts on it! The crash bar bags are from Givi. They have updated this model slightly. Here's the link to the new ones: amzn.to/3Kpstfn. I have thousands of miles with these bags (on two different bikes) and they have been absolutely flawless. They've even survived several drops in rocky situations without ripping!!! Cheers...
I sent my 390 seat pan a few years ago. I would never be able to do the miles I have without my Sargent seat! I need to send the rear seat so they match! - Frank

Could you give us the seat height measurements on the two different seats from the video here in the comments? Looking to get a new seat but I would like to know the two seat heights for comparison to what I have. Understand I would need to add 3/4 for my bike without the low link. Thanks!

The Aprilia Tuareg 660 has a claimed seat height of 33.9 in (860 mm) with the stock seat. Some say after a bit of breaking in, it's closer to 33.75in. Obviously, each individual's bike might be slightly different depending on how much weight they've added with bash plates, engine guards, luggage racks, etc...or if they've adjusted their shocks. But you can use that as a fairly dependable number. Then just take .75 in (3/4 in) off that if you use the comfort low saddle. And you'll be in the 33" seat-height range. Unfortunately I can't measure mine because, as described in the video, I've taken my OEM seat over to Sargent Cycle Products to get one of the custom seats installed! 🙂
Were you able to use your Cool Covers seat cover on the lower seat? I asked them and they really don't know... If you haven't tried it, can you give it a shot and let me know? Thanks!

Absolutely! I've been using my Cool Covers on the Aprilia Comfort Low seat for a while. It fits without any problem. You just have to trim a couple inches off the velcro straps that wrap around underneath the seat, since the circumference of the lower seat is slightly less than OEM.

Cool, thanks. I ride mostly off road and that seat seems a little grippy. I'm hoping the cool cover will let me move around better. @@MotoPhotoAdventures
