This past January we traveled to New Orleans, and sought out the best Sazerac cocktail we could find! We started out at the birthplace of the cocktail - the Roosevelt Hotel Sazerac Bar - and made our way through the city to compare it with other Sazerac's!

I recently had an incredible milk punch with both bourbon and brandy...really underrated cocktail. This awesome video will have me working on my Sazarac now.

Loved the video. NOLA one of my favorite towns and the Sazarac my favorite cocktail. This past trip down I kept missing getting a drink at Peychaud’s because they close earlier than other places.

Sazerac's are my favorite cocktail and I think I make a pretty good one. Sounds like I would like the Arnaud's the most. Did the Roosevelt even have Absinthe? Sounds like it didn't which disqualifies it completely in my book. You can't add it into the mix, just mist the glass with it o the last one that Dillon had is disqualified too. The red color of the Arnaud's comes from using a sufficient amount of Peychaud's bitters. I recently spent a good deal of time making Ramos gin fizz's and can now write them off as a vastly over rated cocktail. Too much effort and really not that good.

All except the one Dillon got at the end were the traditional recipe with the absinthe/herbsaint mist.
