I used a modified ik foam pro 12 for about a year, and it was great. This was before the multi pro 12 that now has the schrader valve I believe. I’d just fill from the compressor and be good to go. I also bought the tip kit for the multi pro 12 from detailed image to swap out. I bought a keg recently that has also been great, just holds the pressure a bit longer.

With all the products you’ve done have you tested any? Aside from the $$$$ professional there are a ton of cheap ones on Amazon, but I have no idea which one, if any, is actually worth it. Nex Diag has some in the $100-200 range. I’d have no problem paying that, if theyre worth it.

Hi Keav just really discovered your channel a week or so ago and i have to compliment you you do a fabulous job Ive also been bing watching all your older video lots of great info there Just wondering if it was in one of them you suggested how to buy the IK foam pro 12 at the best price I thought you said after using all these different discount codes you could get the unit for around $100 with free shipping wondering if Im dreaming since I cant seem to find it again in any of your videos also wondering why you would consider building a Keg spayer thats more expensive and heavier then the IK pro 12. even that is probably over kill for my needs but since its not much more expensive then the smaller IK sprayer with the battery air compressor added and when you use the 12 only half filled and fill with an air compressor which I already have and it will run so much longer thought that might be a better idea although may be not quite as convient or as easy to use in tight places as the smaller one without that long wand thanks for any help you an offer keep up the great work bob t.

DIY detail used to sell them and with my discount they would be around $100. They don’t sell other brands products much anymore mainly due to not having room for inventory, but they have a bigger warehouse now so maybe they will start carrying them again. If you have an IK 12 I see no reason for a detail keg you could modify with a tire inflator so you don’t need to fill with air. IK actually does make a keg like sprayer as well that tiny and ppf guys use, but it’s like $300. Main reason for kegs is just capacity you can put 3 gallons in one and have 2 full gallons of air displacement. You can do multiple cars without filling with air. Really appreciate the kind words as well!

Can this be used to rinse the car with water after contact wash? How much refill it may need to rinse a sedan?

You could won’t have much pressure to make sure you get everything off. Normally take 5 gallons to rinse a car. So refill twice probably.

@@05xrunner Seems they have I remember a year ago I was thinking of making one and with everything all together it would be $300. Main reason I never did it was because a 5 gallon keg would be quite heavy with liquid, but I guess you only fill about halfway probably to get a good bit of air pressure.

@@CarsWithKeav Yea, I put about 3g in mine and it really isnt heavy at all feeling. Its amazing the Keg itself empty almost feels like it weighs nothing. I built my Keg a few weeks ago and it cost me about $160. With 3gal I pump it to about 50psi and it sprays forever and is game changing I feel compared to any other type of sprayer. Just save the coin and build yours instead of paying 400-500 for a prebuilt that is highway robbery compared to what it really cost. I just copied the build of detailing breakdown video he put out a few weeks ago.

@@05xrunner I have seen a few that are built for you for $300 to $350 so the price has gone down. Now no clue what is being used, but if I made one I'm sure it would be expensive I would have all the cool stuff. LOL
