D.J. You also have to consider the competition in the 90s compared to the last 10-15 years. I have biggie number 1 in 94 & 97. However I have Kanye # 1 in 04-05, 07, 09 (from drakes song) 10-11 (11 with jay z) and I have Kendrick # 1 in 12, 15 & 17. I think Kanye & Kendrick are great but I don’t think either is better than biggie even though they had more songs of the year. Even more than 2 pac who I had # 1 in 93 (I get around, wu tang had the better album that year) and in 95-96.

I Have to agree from '94 on 95% of your choices are spot on! As well some of the 80's choices made my cut as well. This list is pretty solid and if you are looking for songs to add to your playlist I would recommend this 9/10
