Neither is Brady. In his first year as a starter Brady took over a team that had a losing record the year before and the year before that went 8-8, so a team that was on a downward spiral, he took over when they where already 0-2, and he took that to the superbowl winning the most lopsided sb win of all time being a 14 point underdog. I would argue that is the biggest impact any single player ever had on a team. The patriots where to 1 SB befor he became the qb and lost, and became THE team to beat for 20 years .

the fact that age 26 isn't Christian McDaughterDater is an atrocity. he had a stellar 34 yards per attempt and threw a touchdown on 100% of his passes, the only Quarterback ever to boast that achievement. Barry, I am disappointed in you. you can't even argue that CMC is a running back because you included Lamar Jackson.

Nice idea. If I had any criticism, it would be that at ages where there are several good choices, doing a quick comparison and saying why you chose the one you did (I'm sure mostly down to playoff success). Not a big deal, but would have been nice to see the contenders.

@@roland7584 Everyone who has success has luck involved and Brady was no different. He never won the Super Bowl without a great and I mean GREAT defense. I will always believe that both Tom and Bill were lucky they had each other. So I can see how people think that, but still Brady put up some video game stats and that isn't supposed to happen.

  • @roland7584

@@stevenscott8015 I'm not denying that in most sports there's luck that's involved in winning it all (or maybe more bad luck in not winning it all). The key is to try and give your team as many chances as possible to get that championship. When someone wins 7, the luck factor and just about everything else starts to smooth out. There are regular season stats, and then there's winning. The winning trumps those stats, and it's also hard to say "put anyone else on that team, and they win a bunch too". Competitive sports just don't work like that. Brady has something that no one else in his era had. However, we better be careful, because the doubters will tell us otherwise.

I would actually argue that age 24 should go to brady. Did mahomes have the better stats ? Yea, but he also took over a team that was already in the playoffs every year. Brady took over a team that had a losing record the year before and the year before that went 8-8, so a team that was on a downward spiral, he took over when they where already 0-2, and he took that to the superbowl winning the most lopsided sb win of all time being a 14 point underdog.
