Loving the content you provide! My favorite Dark Magician Card is the OG GOAT himself, Dark Magician. I got him in the original starter deck Yugi, thanks to my grandfather fittingly enough. I have come to realize also, that Dark Magician represents not only myself, but all people, because as we go through our lives, and have many different forms, the Dark Magician too has many different forms all filled with potential. He is also fittingly my favorite card, because he is a teacher, and as of this year, so am I. Cheers!

That's a nice ways of building it pure. My favorite DM card is Magician's Salvation, I like it's art a lot, and the fact it's an actually usefull card that can be played in pure or mixed DM decks, it's a great.

Im a casual player but can you try soul servant send pharaonic advent to grave. Send two traps/spells to grave that being magic defense to revive pharaonic advent. either have dugares revive him, magic defense or play chaos phantasm to copy him and use itself as fodder. Then take tyrant throes and use navi to revive 2 dark magicians to lock opponent.. it aint competitive but maybe you can create or add cards that it might.. its fun to lock them and have eternal soul to revive dark magicians and link ladder to tenyi.. add in apophis to negate and have extra normal monster.. add in magical hats to create 2 normal summons for tyrant throes while sending traps like navi, magic defense etc to grave and revive dark magician and lock opponent.. its stylish and fun for content but it aint competitive 😂 add one aremasir adventure cont spell is fun too. Or shadow light magician soul to summon effect veiler to sychro summon formula and get a draw.. with magicians rod negated you can still synchro summon into junk speeder.. deck dont have much space but its nice to pull out 5 synchrons tuner and create something thinking your DM deck is done.

Honestly a dark magician card that has a special place in my heart dark magician the dragon knight bc the legendary decks he came in was the last yugioh product my mom bought me as a late birthday present (she hasn’t passed away for anyone that might think that although my wording might have not been the best 😅😅)

Dark Magician OG Yugi/Atem. That card really inspired me to do art, specially drawing. I use to trade the picture by eye, I did it a lot. If I still be drawing I would love to do Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon and in my own style too. That is a really good deck list too. Hope we get new support too

Trying to get back into modern, but my favorite Dark Magician related card is either Magician's Rod or Dark Magical Circle! The relief I feel when being able to search with Rod is great, the feeling of banishing a monster on DM summon is 🔥 though.

I run 2 magician Girls in case one gets banished, and Magician's Combination for an omni-negate, while getting another trigger off of Magic Circle every other turn, or every turn if a DM and DMG are both in play and in the GY.

@@godsmithofchaos luckily most of the kids already play, and between me and another sponsor we can simplify it a bit for them, we also act as judges to help explain interactions. Also we start off simple with nothing more than fusions for the really new players. And then work our way up.

@@godsmithofchaos it makes teaching a lot easier, plus starting with normal monsters to get the idea of tributes, then adding simple effect monsters, etc. you just build them up piece by piece.

Dragoon the best. Also sick build, I know pure DM isn't really the way to go but it's what I tend to go for. At this point we've all tried lots of things to change it up and experiment so I hope we get new support soon

You totally could. Take out Solemn Judgement, and/or Deck Lockdown and replace them with the current best handtraps. I would make my SD whatever my locals has going on. It depends on what most people play at your locals, cause each might be different depending on duelists

There’s 2 ways. Secrets can Ritual or Fusion. Timaeus effect is to fusion summon like polymerization 💪🏽🧙🏽‍♂️👍🏽

When i was a kid my school bully would steal my cards and make me win them back. Obviously i lost allot. He ran a pretty good dragon based deck with buster blader. Well... then they released dark paladin. And i got my blue eyes back 💪 paladin will always be my fav

Besides the card DM itself, Magician of Chaos, dark magical circle, eternal souls, Magician's souls, dark magician girl, red eyes dark dragoon, dark eradicator warlock, dark sage, dark renewal, dark magical curtain, eye of timiaus*, thousand knives, dark magical attack, dark burning attack. You know what... the whole archetype. Much needed DM archetype only Synchro, Xyz( yeah I know ebon but it needs to say DM) , pendulum, link. Konami needs to step up creating those for their ace monster that started it all. Blue eyes got more love going up to Synchro but not DM? Destined Rivals, strength in unity, even BLS worked with blue eyes more than DM. 😅

I 100% agree with you on that. Like why are they doing DM so dirty like that. BLEWD got upgraded and even Won worlds. We have a couple Generic “Dark” Spellcaster XYZ Monsters. But, we need updated support that is actually DM archetype. That isn’t splashable with every other deck.

Rod or any Dark/Light monster can be used as Tuner. Rod + DM or Mahad if you use Mahad. 💪🏽🧙🏽‍♂️

I think the best Support is between Illusion of Chaos or Rod. I love Magician of souls but Illusion fixes so many bad hands and rod starts ALOT of shenanigans leading to big boards.

This deck needs multiple things, but it has SO much potential. First off, I feel like the deck could really benefit from a from an archetype fusion card that lets you send from deck to grave, and honestly being able to recycle from grave or banish to deck would be nice too. I also feel like the field spell should have been “activate an eternal soul straight from deck and eternal soul should be special summon from hand deck or graveyard. I know that’s a lot. But let’s be honest. Dark magician is a 2500 atk vanilla monster. How bad could a free searched summon of it be? Lastly, dark magician needs a fusion that has actual high attack power, actual good built in defenses, and honestly a good link monster wouldn’t hurt Edit: by “this deck” I don’t mean his deck, I mean dark magician in general 😅

@@godsmithofchaos the best thing about it is it can be used as fodder for your magicians souls effect and can be searched even from the gy with soul servant and with the dark magicians fusion you can set servant and activate it to search expanded and set and use it during your opponents turn making your side of the field immune to all your opponents effects or just stopping them from feather dusting your back row. it is also good mid game when they ash your rod, just chain expanded allowing your rod to search and turning it into a 2600 beatstick and allowing you to save your called by the grave to use against their other gy effect monsters like banishing their rod in a mirror match.

Dude i found a card that can search any card that compliments this deck.. “top share”.. combo it with magician soul, soul servant, chicken game, upstart goblin, dark magicians, or anything that lets you draw.. dark magical circle also help position tyrant throes on top for you to draw.. the only drawback is that your opponent also searches a card and put it on top of his deck and on top of that he can see your card first and search for the out.. but goodnews is if you have the counter to his out then you can proceed.. we have negates for spells or traps anyway.. navi, apophis, solemn judgement.. and if we have throes already set we can search for village instead he wont be able to use spells since he can only set cards.. so even if its a spellcaster its not yet treated as spellcaster.. or if we have a card that reshuffle his deck or remove the top of his deck to the grave or banish it.. kashtira??

With triple threat thrust.. we can search for top share too.. or if we have top share already and we have triple threat thrust or heavenly prison we can search for the out for his out (counter to whatever he picks). And if its second turn we can get the card that we need. Triple tactics thrust only searches for spells or trap.. this can search monsters as well.. seems like its OP.. its like sarcophagus but better since you can get it easily in dark magician deck..
