“DONE” I just recently started detailing vehicles on the side to try and escape my horrible job of working at a psychiatric hospital. I’ve been there for 7 years! So far I’ve been getting about a client a week, which has been very nice. I love seeing the clients face and reaction after you transform their vehicle. Anyways, hope I am the lucky winner. Stay safe out there.

Chelsea’s video is the first I have found that provides all the practical tips the new practitioner needs to be confident in making their first attempt at polishing. Her comments about correcting panels in sections, cleaning used pads on the fly, and managing expectations with the Griot’s G9 put this video over the top in helpfulness. Thank you, Chelsea, and thanks for organizing a giveaway to help someone get a great, new start! Don’t select me for it since I have one already on order. - Curly Wolf

Great video as always, lucky for me subscribed to both channels already. Done, love both channels and just detailing content as a whole. I’m in my early 40s and have been a fan of detailing since a kid. I’m no professional by any means I only detail part time out of my garage and have for years. I just love trying new chemicals and tools especially with how fast the market has exploded with them. Not complaining I love it and hope this detailing train doesn’t stop. Thanks again to Attention to Details and Griots and wish everyone the best.

I have also learned some great tips on starting on a realistic budget in these tough times. Great video. That Griot’s polisher is quite impressive. I think the Rupes medium cut wool pad would work really well with either the correcting cream or the quick correcting cream. It’s such a nice pad to use and it does a nice job when used with Rupes uno protect all in one also. I never realized that Griot’s makes such great products. I’m in the commercial end of it all day everyday so I don’t see much of the consumer grade stuff. I’m quite impressed by what I see of their products

DONE! Started doing maintenance washes and waxes with my first car at 16 - a beater by every sense of the word, but I still enjoyed taking care of it. Lots of years and a few cars later I've just recently started taking it to the next level. After lots of research and watching videos (like this one!) I gained the confidence to do a full wash/decon/polish/ceramic coating on my 5 year old daily driver. It was a lot more work than I anticipated but so incredibly rewarding. My wife just got a new car and I'll probably do the whole thing again soon!

I am so grateful to you for the long distance hand holding.. so informative... even entertaining a bit . Thank you again for all the advice and content you continue to put out for your subscribers! DONE - Would LOVE the Griot’s G9 polisher! I ventured down the rabbit 🐇 hole of detailing my own car about 1.5 years ago (began following you when you “only” had about 2k subs). A couple of months ago I started offering my detailing services to friends and neighbors. Now, it’s time to up my game more with polishing! I’ve seen nothing but great reviews on the G9 and am ready to develop my polishing skills.

Done! I'm an enthusiast that enjoys basic detailing. I say basic because I have never polished a car. I started detailing because I believe that it helps preserve the car value for longer and is part of the overall presentation for the job.

Done! Weekend warrior who learned the importance of keeping car clean the hard way. 2 years ago bought a new (to me) '15 Accord. WHITE. I was EMBARRASSED when I saw it parked to my 10+ year neglected daily driver. Since then I've been watching KZread, buying better tools and practicing. My family and friends have benefited. Having this polisher will step up my game. Thanks for the videos and information. Always helpful. Cheers.

Hi Chelsea, My first polisher (G9) is on it’s way to me. I’ve never polished before but have been watching videos for a few years. I feel like I’m just about ready to try it. This video is THE best I’ve seen for true beginners. Thank you so much. You’ve definitely earned my sub. :)

Glad you showed how to let those dirty pads soak until ready to clean. That method makes cleaning the pads easier, gives more time to clean them as product does not cure, and easy to manage

Done! I'm barely getting into detailing. I've never polished before, I feel it's the most intimidating part of detailing. You make it seem so easy, and the fact you said that it doesn't hurt your hand after 3 hours sounds very appealing to me, especially since I'm still in the building up stamina and experience phase of detailing. Love your channel, love your advice, keep up the great work!

Done. I'm a weekend enthusiast trying to keep up the families four cars. I drive a truck so I have to get to it when I'm home. My oldest son has become quite the mechanic so he keeps them on the road. I just try to keep them looking decent while on the road. 😄

I am a FLEX3401 fan and love Your channel. I've never tried Griot's Correcting Cream, nor have I tried Rupes Yellow pads which have an amazing reputation for excellent correction and finishing. This is a very thorough and informative video. You did a fine job as You always do.

Done. 😁 I just bought a 15 year old Black and Decker 9531 sander/ polisher at a barn sale. Thought that was awesome until I seen this video. As u can tell I am a total diy guy. The G9 would definitely be an upgrade. I will keep my fingers crossed.

Done. I'm from Nebraska. I start detailing since I was old enough to drive. Now I started my own business doing it part time. Hopefully here soon it will be detailing full time.
