Heyo everyone! I'm aware this tier list is pretty bad since I was trying to rank items based on overall performance and personal preference rather than making separate lists for Classic and Endless. I know. Dumb decision lol. I didn't expect this video to get any views at all so I was just doing whatever. From what I've heard friendship candies are on a separate measure than friendship for say evolution. I'm not really sure if the bell effects candies. If you have a video or programming to prove this I'd really enjoy reading/watching it

Multi lens is elite at least considering how in endless if you fail to kill in one turn you’re liable to die

The most massive error is vitamins. With Max vitamins you get a 300% stat increases that stacks multiplicatively with everything else. Literally try existing at wave 2000-3000 without vitamins (you get 1 shot and only do like 1/9th of their hp bar on super effective moves) ik this becuase I caught a Rayquaza at wave 2500 and it was doing no damage at all due to not having the vitamins.

Berry pouch goes up to 90% chance with 3 stacks, multilens is GOATED paired with kings rock so you always should take it and if you don’t have a good setup you should poot it on other pokemon that you don’t use to use later, candy jar is inf stackeable (i think) so you can get like 2k lvls over pokemons in endless, DNA splicers are only good if you have 2 shiny pokemon to have not a lot of shinys taking up team also if you fuse shinys the luck stacks

For clarification, candy jars stack limit is 99(100 lvl per candy)

Candy jars should be champion for endless, literally your primary leveling method. Soothe bell is great for farming candies. Iv scanner actually terrible, it slows your game and if you were going to catch farm/specific pokemon you were going to do it anyways regardless of stats Candies is being over rated for classic. You are going to fight eternatus at 200 anyways. Being over 200 makes it so eternatus does more to you. In scenarios before 200, getting usually one level is negligible and other items are probably much better depending on scenarios

I agree with most of what you said, but the thing with Candy Jar is that Metal Burst strategy doesn't really have any need for it. You can even be underleveled and still be totally fine. But if you're running a hard carry Pokémon like Zacian or whatever legendary, then yeah, Candy Jar is 100% a must have.

@@spand9043 Yeah I know, you still *kinda* need it. You don't need nearly as many levels on a Metal Burst mon though. For example, my Zacian hit level 100,000 at wave 3500, where he could no longer carry me. He had 900K HP. That's way more than a Metal Burst mon ever needs to clear Endless. So you don't need to go so hard early on the Jars/Candies. That being said, you still need to have max Candy Jars past wave 3000.

dont rare candies give happiness, and you gain more happiness in classic than in endless, so its not that bad for farming candies also? Also is the level 200+ boost damaged on Eternatus confirmed?

Just encountered the Toxic Orb today, while I had a Guts mon on the team, so can confirm they are in the game. Also, loving the FF9 BGM. Top tier, imo.

They only appear if you can benefit from them (Guts, Poison Heal, Flare Boost, Facade, etc.) And yeah this music is very nice and calming

I have a team of black hole pokemon in endless wave 2001+ (you can equip 1 per pokemon). Its S tier for endless, though it only works when your in the dimension that you cant throw balls. You end up trading items back and forth, instead of losing them and trying to snag them back before the fight ends. OH also lucky eggs(/golden lucky eggs) are on wild pokemon and boost your exp rate Good tier list

Im totally biased cause ive always loved the chaos of having a slow as sin pokemon have a small chance of going first. And it breaks my heart to see quick claw that low. Utilize slow bois more and stack a couple of them on snd watch how often it goes off. It really is crazy and can make a slow pokemon operate like some of these fast sweepers

Lures are great for shiny hunting, i alwayr prioritize having 3 max lures active in my endless runs and it essentially doubles the odds

Flame Orb pretty much helped me out with Guts Swellow.

My luck is so bad I haven't seen half of these

I would note that some of these really good items actually become riskier in Classic depending on your build. Especially if you're doing Classic runs just for ribbons and aren't running the most optimal Eternatus counters (I've had many runs where my phase 1 counter was a poison resist with protect for Eternabeam lol). But items like Reviver Seed, Leppa Berry, Lum Berry, Leftovers, Shell Bell, and Focus Band are risky if you're gonna be spending a lot of time in front of Eternatus with a slower method for killing him, because then he just gets all of these broken items. Leppa lets him keep using Recover, Lum makes it so you can't reliably status him, Leftovers/Shell Bell/Reviver Seed/Focus Sash can make him annoying to kill, etc. Some of these are way more valuable than others though, and if your strat can focus Eternatus down before you even need to use some of your mons, you can just make them hold all of the valuable items so Eternatus can't get them (bonus points if you just sack that mon in phase 1 so he REALLY never gets them lol). But the fact that I don't like having more Leppa Berries than necessary by the end of a run makes me value the PP Up items way more valuable to me, especially if you don't have a way to cancel Eternatus's ability. There are so many 5 and 10 PP ground/psychic/ice/dragon moves, and Pressure can be really taxing on them. So I love seeing a PP Up/PP Max for those. Or just for saving money on Recover/Roost/Synthesis PP (since I hate going blindly with 1 or 2 PP left in case I need to recover spam to win a trainer fight, I use too many Ethers on them lol)

Very biased to specific "meta" strategies (not even the full variety though) and Endless. I get bored with endless personally, and would need to change like 1/3. Situational is also just all over the place. the way it's categorized here.A lot of the useful items for new players (likely largely the intended audience) who don't have the starters needed for consistent success. For example... Tera Orb is very useful for defensive typing ime. Kings rock should be situational based on these criteria. Vitamins are massively useful if you value them throughout a run imo. Berry pouch is only nice with multiple ime. Mega evolution bracelet is so common compared to the mega stones which makes G-max a more reliable option in classic ime. Focus band sucks as is. Map is very useful. Held items are frustratingly easy to lose making most less useful than rated here. Experience balance should never go above 1 imo. Keep in mind that the value of these items willl also vary greatly over time as the game is developed further. For example, trainer battles will be in Endless in some form, which will change a lot most likely and even I n a brewf period of time I've played, the drop rates have noticeably changed, etc.

Not putting exp balance in ash tier or even worse is a crime

I found the flame orb once and it was one floor after I found a facade TM I think the move is. It was a farming candies run so I don’t remember exactly but the move that deals more damage if you have a status on you. Also mini black hole is good BUT and this is a BIG BUT it only activates if you don’t kill the mon in one hit if you do than you get nothing. If you stall than you can take a lot of items yes but late game you don’t want to have a Pokemon survive the first hit so it’s very situational

can confirm i use teddiursa as a starter a lot since i somehow pulled a red star shiny version of him and i get toxic/flame orbs often. would recommend the flame orb over toxic orb for guts users.

It depends. Toxic Orb does less damage if you're only out for 2 or less turns. If you're out for more than that, Flame Orb will do less total damage. Iirc

i found a bug if you transfer you maxizeta i have it on spanish to another pokemon you just gigamax it and the other keeps the form

In terms of endless Egg voucher plus wont carry you for a run, but on the long run you get some amazing pokemon, i'd say its Elite to have in any run when you dont have any items, ive gotten tons of blue shinys and shinys from them and also some shiny legendarys from hatching them.

I agree with that. Looking back now that I've played a LOT more, I'd say most of the time I'm playing endless specifically to farm vouchers anyway. So, ya, taking pretty much any voucher on endless is worth it unless there's a really good alternative.

I personally wouldn’t put the master ball that high I’ve gotten it multiple times minimum 7 and only actually used it twice once on Terapagos and then Eternatus because you just don’t find legendaries that often and it is a masterball but I’d take any other master tier item over the masterball including DNA splicers it’s way more situational than splicers and rougueballs work just fine when catching wild legends but purely personal opinion

mini black hole is like pickup but better, top 3 in endless easily

I'm so mad because I somehoe found 2 master balls on my attempt that beat classic mode but didn't find a single good pokemon to use either on... It felt like such a waste

Fym eggs at the bottom I adore gambling

Once I saw a shiny charm on classic mode around 190 but you can’t really catch those so I figured I’d be better off not using that

Brute bonnet is surprisingly good for the eternatus fights. If it heals like it does in classic it can go out, and as long as the sun is up and it has good speed it should outspeed eternatus. It can use the egg move sappy seed and spore and it can do a lot of chip damage in fights like that, which also makes it a good counter to pokémon with a lot of bulk.

I heard you say the evolution items can only show up when a pokemon on your team can use it. Unless that's a recent change it isn't true in my experience. Ive gotten mega rings when nothing on my team can mega for example. The same is not the case for mega stones.

That's true. I should have clarified, I meant the evolution items such as Thunder Stones and such. The items like Mega Rings and Dynamax Bands will still show up since they just passively unlock those features.

Ya, but for enemies with multiple health bars, it's more beneficial any way since you normally have to do so much damage to break through more than one. So having multiple hit (even with reduced damage) let's you break way more bars than you normally would.

@@Valancet But with one Multi Lens each hit is 31.25% as strong as the original. So... It ain't really helping break health bars. Still shred Eternautus. Unsurprisingly even when nerfed, an effective 180 BP super effective hit from 130 base Attack is gonna hurt a lot.

@TunaBear64 it's mostly because shields takes exponentially more damage to break multiples of. So, to break 5 shields at once requires you to deal 35x the damage of 1 shield. Let's say your full powered attack would only deal 26x the damage. So it would only break 4 shields and the extra damage would be wasted. But 31.25% of your damage would be 8.125x the damage of one shield which is enough to break 3 shields. But you hit twice, which let's you break 6 shields instead of the 4 you would've broken otherwise. It's basically just allowing you to utilize your overflow when you would've dealt a lot extra, but not quite enough. Hopefully, it makes sense typed out like that lol.

Putting map so low hurts my soul. It is always a pick up for me.

Multi lense tinkanonk with covet and grip claws and you can steal all of the item on eternatus 😂

This ain't it chief. You need to overhaul the whole tier list.

Fun fact I discovered recently: you don't need Skill Link for that combo. Population Bomb actually keeps hitting until something dies or the attack misses. So if you have 2 Wide Lenses, it will always hit 10 times. So using Technician actually makes it more broken.

Ya, I think I worded it wrong. Items like the mega bracelet that essentially unlock a feature, will show up regardless. It's only things like thunder stones and such that only show up if something you have evolves from it.

Very good tier list. The only thing I would complain about is that the map should be higher.I often had situations where I had a strong Pokemon, but the game gave me a level with Pokemon that worked super effectively on it. This is especially annoying when your main is a fire type and you end up in a level where it's constantly raining. So I would give the map to a high gym leader or a low elite

You've clearly never played in waves even at 1000 muchless 3000+ since you've put all the SS tier things into mid tier (literally without vitamins you can't even play anymore past wave 1500) since you won't do any damage and Max vitamins are a multiplicable 300% stat boost. Vitamins are always priority #1 if you want a long run. That's egregious enough but the fact you didn't even realize that the XP share item doesn't lower the amount of xp your main pokemon gets, rather it just makes all pokemon in the team also get XP on top of your main pokemon still getting full XP. Multi lens to break through waves is the difference between wiping and winning at wave 1500+ against sturdy and bosses. Also used for flinch cheese which is required to make it past 3000. Ability charm for the purpose of a run is F tier it wastes a slot and if you aren't trying to catch hidden ability pokemon it makes your run harder. The DMG boost capsules stack multiplicatively with other boosts you should always try to grab 5 of those right before eternatus at higher waves. You can get 5x X attack for 5 stage attack increase and then use swords dance to basically get to 20 stage. It's stupid and absolutely something I always do before eternatus in classic and before mega Rayquaza ivy if possible. Rare candy and jars also falls into the required above wave 1000 category becuase if you aren't at least 3-5x their level they will outspeed and wipe you later on.

Those kinds of items I didn't rank as high in this list because things like vitamins and multi-lens aren't really needed for classic mode and I was trying rank the items overall and not specifically to one mode.
