Fun fact, if you asked jirachi to recruit a new friend whilst already having every single Pokémon, it will give you a wurmple, this is because of how they coded wurmple in the game essentially creating 2, one that evolves into cascoon the other silcoon. However if you have both types of wurmple it works like intended and jirachi will give you a random mon.

when I played Blue Rescue team I used Skitty. I had facade on it and did massive amounts of damage. I think my other moves were ice beam, thunderbolt, and some other move I cant remember.

Now be a true masochist and get every shiny. Shiny Celebi is the easiest, ironically

Aloha my friend, this game is the shiyet! I’ve spent over 300 hours grinding away at this game, and even then, I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. I really hope they remaster the other Mystery Dungeon Games cause this is just the beginning! Also, now that you have Celebi, you should check the Mystery House in the Western Cave where you found Mewtwo, there might just be a surprise waiting for you there…

What's also funny is that the later rocky dungeon was easy, and my sort of way for farming treasures. . .Just have a pokemon with small stomach and food finder. That's my sort of way to farm it. Plus having a Honchkrow named Darkrai helps too

Man this game looks pretty, I played the original Blue Rescue team about a yeae ago and I genuinely forgot how much I not only liked the story, but loved the music. In my play through, I had a bullet seed Bulbasaur that unironically carried me through the game. I forgot about the remake came out and definitely looks worth my time, great video as ever :) Edit:I'm realising that I probably should have done the postgame💀

I had a lot of fun when I did this on my own save, but it took me a lot longer, haha. I got really unlucky with Riolu and it took me around 50 hours to find one. I found plenty of Lucarios though, of course lmao. Always love to see people who love the Mystery Dungeon series.

I will never forget the first time i was playing through mystery dungeon blue rescue team on the ds and learning how comically overtuned multi hit moves are when a fearow just used fury attack and just instantly fainted my pokemon and no matter how much i tried always did enough to either faint me or leave me at 1 health, so much so that whenever i saw one i just ran the opposite direction avoiding them because i felt so helpless against them.

I have to say in this game you shouldn't sleep on psyduck as a partner, cloud 9 ability is so clutch in later dungeons! My starters were machop and psyduck and then altaria the legend slayer sticks around too! Great game!

I miss the old friend areas on the Gameboy it was more fun and creative than I remember. Hell we were able to explore on the gameboy I don’t know why they didn’t do it on the switch. I also found the gameplay was more easier than back now

It's naturally easier in the remakes, but inviting orbs, friend bows and killing a pokemon with false swipe can all raise recruitment! Other than that it's just luck 😅

I started playing this game a long time ago, and I'm still not even close to being finished, all because of silver trench. I tried it once, lost, and then did almost everything that isn't locked behind finishing it. I finished the mewtwo quest, I got suicune, like, the only things I can do now are finish silver trench, recruit the other 2 legendary beasts, trying to beat wish cave and trying to beat purity forest. The dungeon is WAY too long, there's NO items that fill up hunger and, for some reason, the pokémon there are on steroids. Seriously, my mewtwo is almost level 80, psychic is upgraded a lot, and most wild pokémon STILL don't faint in one hit. I DON'T GET IT WTF IS THIS DUNGEON!?

Rare qualities like Small Stomach or Rapid Bull's Eye are some of the best ways to clear Silver Trench in my opinion! 🙏

@@CushYT I have rapid bulls eyes, but... I have it on marowak. But still how do they not just die from 1 mewtwo psychic? It's almost level *80.* Something else which is super annoying is how all pokémon have hydro pump and there's no apples.

@gudrunlourinho4688 without small stomach I normally take around 10-15 big apples, 6-10 max ethers/elixirs, 6 reviver seeds and a couple oran berries. upgrading the pp for bonemerang and bone club is great too

​​@@CushYT oh, yeah so, uh, here's the thing: I don't have x ray specs. I lost them while doing kyogre's dungeon and the only dungeon where I know they can spawn is purity forest. Don't think i'd beat silver trench easily with them but it would help.

X-ray Specs are sold in Kecleon store. Just do Marowak's dojo over and over (it takes like 1 minute and counts as a dungeon so it resets the store) until they appear and buy them from Kecleon.
