One of the best beaches in Europe, preserved nature, ecological agriculture and preserved traditional architecture are advantages of this unique Croatian island. We'll introduce you to some of its most beautiful places, attractions, and activities on island Vis.
➡️𝐒𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐚 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡
You can reach the beach by land, but it is a very steep 20-30 minute trail down, so bring appropriate shoes and avoid going with small children. Other, easier, way is to access it by boat. The downside of this is that you always have too many boats docked around Stiniva.
➡️𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐧𝐚
It is a small fishermen’s village accessed by car through a 15-20 minute drive on a dirt road, from Marine Zemlje. From the parking to the beach, you have 2 minute walk. You can categorize this beach both as pebble and cliff beach because Mala Travna has both.
➡️𝐒𝐦𝐨𝐤𝐨𝐯𝐚
About 100-meter long beach with white sand, clear sea and our favorite beach is Smokova beach! Even though you can access it from land, it is much easier to access it with a boat. If you can’t give yourself that boat ride luxury, bring appropriate shoes, and do not go down there in flip-flops.
➡️𝐕𝐢𝐬 𝐓𝐨𝐰𝐧
Vis, a town situated in the northeast corner of Vis Island, is nestled in a sheltered bay. Vis was formed by merging two old towns - Kut and Luka - in the 16th century when the church Gospa od Spilica was constructed.
Vis is becoming an increasingly popular destination, especially amongst yachtsmen.
➡️𝐊𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐳𝐚
Komiza is a picturesque fishing village on the island of Vis in Croatia. It boasts stunning beaches, winding roads and old Mediterranean buildings with traditional architecture that make tourists flock to this spot. The small town is nestled deep within a bay on the western side of Vis and is conveniently surrounded by the Hum mountain at 600 metres high.
➡️𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐯𝐞 Part of many island tours is stop to the Green Cave, however, if you are in good shape we recommend kayaking there. If you are a pro navigating the sea and the boats, you can rent a kayak from Diamond Beach bar on Tepluš beach. If you are beginner, I recommend booking a tour. There is an amazing kayaking tour that takes you to Green cave & Stiniva beach.
➡️𝐁𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐯𝐨 & 𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐯𝐞
is the most distant inhabited island in Croatia and it gained it’s popularity because it is home to famous Blue Cave. We love it because of it’s beautiful Mezuporat bay, too.Trip to Biševo is best taken from Komiža. There are several tourist agencies and excursion boats that offer organized trip to Biševo & Blue Cave, which you can find just walking down the Komiža promenade.

We will definitely have to add this to the 1 week sailing itinerary in Croatia which is part of our World tour. Your footage does a great picture of how beautiful Vis is, plus the info is great too. Welcome to KZread. Subed to support and see more. I am doing my rounds letting our friends and colleagues here know that we are one step closer to making our dream of driving around the World with a carbon-neutral footprint, and we have changed our channel name to be more marketable for our niche of travel, preservation, and culture. It is a little geeky, but we like it. I hope you enjoy your day and continue to enjoy our content as we try to improve. - Turtle

Thank you for watching ❤️ you must visit Vis for sure. First stop to Vis and after to Komiza. When you sailing from Vis to Komiža ne sure to go on south side of the Island. On south side you will find green cave, Stiniva, Srebrna and another amazing Beaches. Also you Will found some old abandoned military bunkers. After spending night in Komiza go to Bisevo Island to see Blue cave. Best reataurant in Komiza called Barba. The best food.
