Extrem unfreundliches Personal!!!! Hotel Istra auf der Roten Insel ist sehr schmutzig und das Essen ist sehr schlecht!!!!!!!

Swap Novigrad with Porec, Mljet for Zadar and Vis for Opatija. Porec has much more to offer than Novigrad - no discussion :) Mljet you will enjoy mostly if you have a yacht or boat. Yes, in any case its beautiful there but count it to Dubrovnik. Zadar is the optimal base camp for Central Dalmatia and all its sights. Vis is pretty but just as the other over 1.200 islands. Opatija has a few interesting particularities and is not far away from a bigger city where you can get everything you need.

Going to Croatia with my husband and 2 children. They want to camp and we are driving from Italy. By any chance do you know a family camping site. We have our tent with us.

Thank you, you have presented my country excellently, but this is only a small part. Eastern Croatia, Slavonia, the cities of Djakovo, Osijek and Vinkovci (continuously inhabited for 7000 years), Kopacki rit, tour farms for tourists, excellent wines and food. The western and northern part of Croatia is beautiful. And advice to tourists, go to smaller places, it's cheaper and less crowded.

I know that Dubrovnik must stay on video,but so expencive stone you never see in the world...😎If you heard for Opatija( name also pearl od Croatia coast),for Poreč,for insland Krk,insland Cres,insland Rab,insland Ugljan -near Zadar....that is also real beautiful places to visit and stay few days....I realy don't know wnay every time when somebody say Croatia every,evrry time first is Dubrovnik...which does not deserve in my opinion and lot of others people.Croatia have not only coast but lot of beautifull places inside ( Ilok,Kutjevo-place of vine,Kneževi vinogradi-Duke's vineyards near Osijek ecc.ecc)

Help please with your suggestions we decided that we don't want to rent a car to travel from the Zagreb down the coast to Dubrovnik so please can you tell us what are your other suggestions way of travel? Thank you

You can fly from Zagreb to Dubrovnik, there are 2 or 3 flights per day. The orher option is bus, but it takes very long.

Italianate in nature? I would say Mediterranean!!!

4 of 12 most beautiful places in Croatia are in Istria? Really? And some of the others are beautiful only out of the summer season because of mass tourism. There are still very beautiful places but many of them were not on your list. Sorry.

Dalmatia is Croatia, Name Dalmatia is given by Italian and Hungary when thy try to separate Croatia on 4 parts. Croatia Slavonia,Bosnia,Dalmata. But is all One people

They are venetian towns built and inhabited for centuries by dalmatian italians. Not much Croatia......
