I'm not exaggerating when I say that the customer service I received from Paychex was some of the worst I'd ever received. I think I mentioned in the video but just no show after no show for meetings and one guy wreaked of cigs... not impressed!

I've been watching a ton of these videos trying to figure out solutions for my small business. This is by far one of the better videos out there. Super helpful! I am shocked you don't have more Likes, comments and subscribers.

I use Gusto for my payroll and I like it but it is a bit basic and limited in my opinion. When you have multiple locations and multiple checking accounts especially payroll gets weird@@mr.kapasi1513

Wait, I reached the ADP portion and heard you said, "I haven't personally used it." If you HAVE NOT personally used a software, how can you give HONEST UNBIASED review on it? That's like giving an opinion on starbucks coffee when you've never had it before? *FAcepalm*' Business is like marriage, you gotta try things out and see if it works. How are bench vs quickbook in terms of bookkeeping, UI and price?

I've had a terrible time with Gusto. One can't even click the box to show that we have a retirement plan - one has to wait on their folks to do it. Two years in a row they have filed our W-2s before they were correct even though they were asked not to file yet. Not happy. If you just need really basic payroll and nothing out of the ordinary, then I guess they would be fine.

Ugh! I'll I'm hearing or seeing, based on the comments that it's still hit or miss with any of these companies. I'm watching this video because I have Gusto and have had HUGE issues. Customer service is AWFUL. They screwed up and late filed a report and I received a penalty for over 2K. Even though they have admitted that they late filed it (they had no choice the labor department said they never got it and they are the ones responsible for filing it since that is what I hired them to do) It's taken almost a year to even begin to get to someone that can start a resolution to this matter. Also the Department of Labor rep that I spoke with told me that this is a repeat problem that they have had with Gusto and they told them that they are not waiving any more fees or penalties from them because they do this so often. They filed an appeal on behalf of my business, but it still looks bad and I'm not even sure if it will be approved. If not, I'll be suing them for the 2k. I can't get away from them fast enough....since this is a habitual problem for them, I don't want to have to go through this nightmare ever again.

sounds like way too many different services to keep track of when ADP can do it all in one platform. For probably the same price as the three you use.

My law office has been using Gusto for 3-4 years. We are switching. It has become a nightmare during a data migration process, where we changed from a DBA to S corp. Over 1 year later, Gusto has continued to fail to finalize this easy/ routine process.

@@esgreen0000 thanks for the reply! My CPA recommended Gusto or ADP. I actually ended up going with Gusto and just ran my first payroll. No issues yet and havne't had issues with any customer service reps I've spoken to. I didn't know what other options to go with since there seemed to be mixed reviews with all the other payroll services I looked into. Which one do you use?

gusto is not good if you have undocumented people working for you cause it requires SSN and because I paid them by salary not hourly so I handle them with 1099 form since they have ITIN numbers they can still paid their taxes

Do any of these Payroll Systems allow for Piece Rate Pay? Piece Rate Pay is a few years old now and I require this instead of hourly or salary employees, or contractors and honestly all of these should have upgraded the software as soon as Piece Rate Pay became a thing.

I worked for a non profit and I noticed taxes were very high being taken out. We used ADP for payroll.

I work for ADP. Our software is actually pretty good and we have been updating our technology consistently.

Adp is horrible with their customer service communication and they’re expensive. I had to deal with an employee who wasn’t transparent with me about workers comp information now I had to pay an arm and a leg for her miscommunication

Does gusto integrate with quickbooks? I use quickbooks for my bookkeeping but looking into Gusto for payroll. Or since I use quickbooks, would you recommend me just staying there for payroll?

GUSTO WAS THE WORST PAYROLL PROVIDER EVER!!!! As an accountant, I've had more tax problems than ever. I also spent more time on payroll than I did, even when I did payroll myself. I've never been more frustrated and aggravated by a payroll company. Gusto cost my firm thousands of dollars in mistakes.

Paychex is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Canceled them for their horrible customer service and 6 months later I still get resolution to completely close out account. Turn and burn reps is putting it lightly! Paychex sucks!

I’ve used all 4 of the software you mentioned and they are all bad to some extent Just wanted to let u know that although one of the payroll offered took out payroll taxes of 10k twice and when I became the accountant 2 years later that had kept the $ and never said any However I must go back to them because they are the only software that links a specific software that my client has In 2022 we are going to give them another try

Did you ever use paycheck flex in regard to another app. What I mean is to use 2 apps for your employees for instance my company uses clean smart do have the employees clock in the clock out and document work related issues. They use paycheck flex to have the hours worked transferred it and converted into payroll format and paycheck information through paychexflex.Did you ever find there was a discrepancy in the amount of hours transferred from the work time app to the payflexchex payroll for those hrs per hourly wage format? Thanks
