No, actually thank you. Thanks for helping us. You are kind, clear minded, and direct to the point. Most of all, your lessons are not boring.
Yes, I would love a video on how to write and paper while researching
“Pre-learned biased” this is a great point of view! thank you! this helped me build a better framework for researching.
With my university if I find an article that I don't have access to through the library I can request it through the library. I'm currently working on a final and I checked my essay topics at the beginning of the week. There was an article that was perfect for the essay, but it wasn't in my library. The library was able to get it to me the next day!

Hey that's awesome!! I find that not all students are aware of the fact that their universities can oftentimes help them gain access to articles and other sources that are blocked to the public. I'm glad to hear this worked out for you!
Hey Chelsea, I am so happy I found your channel! Your videos are extremely helpful. Could you please make a video on how to do the research process and the writing process together?

Good! As always, I'm happy to help. I'm sure having the APA book is a big help too. Good luck on this paper! It sounds like you've been doing well in your program :)
Your videos are so sooo helpful! I always used to read a lot of information that probably was not related to my topic. I know that a good research is very important to write a good paper, but those techniques or "secrets" are not explained at school because of time or other issues. I am really happy that I could find your channel. Since I found it and I wonder something, I always come here for getting some advice. Thank you so much!

@@Jon5150XL Good for you! I received by BS in management as well. I'm glad to hear my videos are helpful to you though. Thanks for supporting this channel!
I wouldn't disregard the article about adolescent boys because it can give you insights into gender differences in social media. What I would do instead is a quick overview of the abstract and the sections. Having a research topic is not enough. One needs, at least roughly, a theoretical framework. For instance, if one approaches the question from a feminist or gender studies perspective, the article about adolescent boys can be good to later compare studies done on girls, and see if there are any gender biases in the methodology. That way you can maybe offer an original contribution to the field.
Good tips, but I disagree about choosing a topic you have no interest in so that you easily get a good grade. Maybe every now and then for subjects you 'just have to pass', but if you apply this throughout your degree, you'll finish with a fairly worthless piece of paper and no great knowledge gained other than how to regurgitate information already available. Are you studying to learn, or not? (speaking as someone with 2 degrees)

Hey there, I think you've missed my point on this. It's not about simply choosing an topic to get an easy grade, but learning how to value critical thinking skills vs always falling back on personal interest. This is something I find many college students do not have experience with, especially coming out of high school where paper writing is much simpler than college. What often happens is a student is faced with an assignment they "don't" want to do no matter what the topic is, and that fact alone creates a mental block that's hard to work through. (this is the foundation for procrastination) So, my point is about learning how to compete projects and tasks with or without personal interest which is a valuable skill to have in college and, likewise, is transferable into life outside of college. No "just passing." Arguably, always choosing the topic with you want to write about would be choosing the easy out. I'd also argue that you learn more when researching a topic you didn't previously have interest in because it requires you to expand your knowledge into new territory. Speaking as someone with 2 degrees while half way through my 3rd. Respectfully.
