Great video! I always direct my students to Google scholar. It can save time and it drives them towards academic sources and not random internet sources. As a professor I often find many of my colleagues have still not mastered Google Scholar! Keep up the good work Chelsea!

"a woman must have money and a room of her own if she is to write fiction" The author: Virginia Woolf The reference: Susan Sellers. The Cambridge Companion to Virginia Woolf.p3 I have all of these three elements and i've been asked to write this quotation according to APA 7th edition. So can you please tell me how to get it done and thank you in advance.

Hey James, it sounds like you're trying to cite what is called a secondary source. A secondary source refers to content that was first published in one source and is being reused in another. In your case, Virginia Woolf is the primary source for the quote, Susan Sellers would be the secondary source. Here's how to approach this: 1. Create the full reference list entry based on your secondary source 2. In your text you will identify the primary source and then use the phrase "as cited in" to identify the secondary source. 3. Parenthetical citation might look something like this: "A woman must have money and a room of her own if she is to write fiction" (Woolf, 1929, as cited in Sellers, 2006, p 186). 4. Narrative citation might be: As stated by Woolf (1929), "a woman must have money and a room of her own if she is to write fiction" (as cited in Sellers, 2006, p 186). This is an example - Be sure to adjust the dates and page numbers accordingly. Hope this helps!
