yam yam helping Carson possibly win at fire even tho he was perceived as the biggest threat to win really spoke to yam yam's character, and it was one of the brightest and best moments ever in the show

I just noticed how Yam-Yam looked at the jury each time his name was read in the end. I think that further speaks to his humility and grace, as if he was non-verbally saying, "Wow, thank you for giving me your vote!" rather than smiling at himself out of pride and self-centeredness.

Definitely the best winner in the new era, was rooting for him since day 1! So glad he won.

Glad he won, he’s hilarious and such an entertaining player throughout the season!💜

One thing I really admire and love about the Tika 3 is how in the ftc Carson is coaching both Yam Yam and Carolyn when Yam said “I wasn’t following Carsons orders” and how Carson nodded with like he so wanted Yam Yam to say that!

Watching this clip made me realize how much of his strategy was there from the very beginning. He wasn’t just a social player

Honestly, one of the best winners in a while. He was close to the bottom at start of the merge, but when he got everybody who voted him out after voting for him is amazing. Plus, him trying to help Carson win fire making was so wholesome.

This was one of my favorite season. Yam yam and Carolyn is my all-time favorite survivor duo.

Yam Yam makes me happy. I'd like a spin off show with him and Carolyn

Such a great winner imo. Yam Yam was very hilarious and entertaining this season.

I agree. I have never watched a single survivor and I almost did and it was solely to watch Yam-yam. He was hilarious and very interesting to watch.

Nice and quick work. Surprised though that the scene when Bruce gets med-evacced and Yam Yam says something like "we are gonna win the game for you" isn't in there, considering it was even subtitled haha. That was some heavy-handed foreshadowing.

Also Yam helping Carson with preparing for fire in the finale is one of the sweetest moments of Survivor I can remember. I know people are gonna say it wasn't smart but I feel like one of the themes of this season was that sometimes playing with a big heart and emotionally can also get you results.

@@MrJuuberi Agreed that it was definitely a great character moment, but strategically it was actually a genius move on Yam Yam's part, if Carson did win and make it to FTC Yam could claim Carson's victory in fire as something he never could have achieved without Yam's help which indirectly adds to his own resume in the process

One of the best heroes to play the game.

5:30 is the funniest moment of the season hands down

His social game is acc insanely impressive. He was a target for the entire merge and was still able to squeeze by multiple close tribals even with a rocky relationship with carolyn. One of the all time best winners in the social department

There was a twist f11 where the tribe was split, and the team that won was immune and was able to watch from the jury bench

Why does everyone think Maryann was a great winner? She was an awful winner

a fantastic winner with a great personality, and honestly Carolyn fans can go cry somewhere else I'm not gonna take away the win from the first gay man of color to defend some white woman
