There was some conversation on twitter/reddit that Dee wasn’t present enough early on for a winners edit but I feel like this really shows how Dee had her finger on the pulse of the game from day one. She played a quiet, dominant game that didn’t reveal itself until the end. Top tier winner IMO.

Winners edit was harder to spot since they could give more screen time other people. I wouldn't quite put her in the tip tier. She only won by 1 vote and she lucked out hard that Katurah panicked a flipped her vote to Julie. Drew was definitely in the drivers seat for most the game. If Katurah or Jake win immunity at final 4 she likely is voted out. It was a great game, but not dominant as some.

This was one of the easiest cake walks in survivor history. The winner was obviously coming from the core four alliance as early as day 5 or 6. Another season with 0 interesting characters, 0 big plays, and 0 fun. Probst and casting need to change the direction of this show if they want to turn around the decline. Enough with the super fans who are just there for a good time. Bring in the killers, those who want to win. Katurah & Jake go down in the upper echelon of worst/stupidest players to ever play the game.

More of Kim, not Parvati. Parvati needed to practice on her first season. She is just a flirty woman who is mean to people outside her alliance Kim and Dee knew exactly what to do on their first seasons.

easily a top 10 winner. thought it would be impossible to see this type of dominance in the new era but she proved it otherwise.

@@lucrative6477how did she float? She took control of the game and did what she had to do. She didn’t float, she made moves to secure herself in her spot to the final. Nobody didn’t trust her and she knew how to make connections and get the bigger targets before they could see her as a target. Clearly, you can’t see her gameplay.

She’s definitely the top player of the new era

Her not telling Austin about the Drew vote and the Emily blindside was awesome. I always root for the underdogs but Dee is a great winner for this season.

This cast was so good. It got to the point around 8 or 9 where I genuinely thought any of them would make excellent winners. Crazy to think this started with two quitters, the had to include them on balance

Dee is such a good winner. This cast was pretty good too.

With most Survivor champions, when all of their moments are displayed together like this, you can *really* see their winner's edit.

Everything about her and her game on this show was PERFECT to me! From her intro shot to her first confessional

Fuck no she isn't, she was carried to the top because of Austin and leveraged her alliance the entire game, Emily deserved to win that season, she started from the bottom and worked her way up, she was way smarter and waaaay more strategic, she only went home cuz Austin's dumbass couldn't keep his mouth shut about Julie's blind side to dee

not really. he literally made it to 2nd place, someone else just played better than him and got 1st. there is no way to predict what would have happened if Emily had stayed in the game over Julie and what would have happened with his and Dee's alliance moving forward; he very well could have been gone the next episode. the fact that Dee took HIM to final 2, that was Austin's most valuable alliance at the end of the day.

Yeah when she sat at the back of her alliance all season was great. Tons of strategy.

I’m sorry but her telling Julie and blindsiding Emily is one of the single best moves I’ve ever seen in survivor history, and I stand by that.

This season got better even though it had 2 premerge quits. Dee had one of the best edits as a winner, she lowered her threat level, and knew who to take out at the right time. Her best move was getting out Emily & Drew without making anyone upset.

In one aspect top 2 was impressive: - Austin didn't get any single vote entire game and wasn't in major danger (even if his allies were blindsided) - Dee got only 2 votes. 1st one was a throwaway vote from Sean, 2nd one was in final 5

I agree! She was very visible. I didn't mean she was an unexpected winner. I meant more that she didn't get as much of an emotional focus or story (they made the finale Jake's episode, which is wonderful and interesting but he didn't win).I probably didn't summarize my thoughts well but there's an article that came out about how the new editing is putting emotional/moral victories over game ones and it sums up what I was trying to say a lot better. I also like knowing the full cast though in this new style so definitely pros and cons@@kendyll8483

I didn't like her at first. But when it came to the final 10 I think. I started rooting for her and Austin both lol and was fine with either of them winning. She played a good game 👍🏼

Dee reminds me of Sophie Clarke if South Pacific had a better editing team. Reba 4 is a more likeable version of the Upolu majority. Sophie secretly ran that alliance the same way Dee was running Reba.

Dee’s game is amazing except that dang final 5 round, ugh that is such a hole in her game! She should have been willing to vote julie to protect herself from Jake and katurah.

Dee played a great game and she definitely made her family proud. Her coming from Cuba to play this game is awesome. However, I was a bit annoyed at times when Dee was being bossy and wanted some votes in post-merge to go her way. But I understand that’s the game and I wish Dee the very best in her future. ❤❤👍🏼👍🏼

This isn’t a charity. Just because someone is the underdog doesn’t mean they deserve to win. Jake was fumbling every vote out there, he literally did not know what was going on and Reba kept saving him because they knew how much of a goat he was. Dee was running that island like the navy, she knew what was happening the entire time. Why is it so hard for Survivor fans to credit women?
