This beautiful music was played at my daughters graduation
The quality of sound in this performance is top notch
I walked down the isle to this and still would today.
Verdi marshalled horns like the master he was while dancing with the strings and making the entsemble complete with woodwinds
Just like a tune during graduation march
I've never heard a more effective combination of strings, brass, woodwinds, and even the percussion was just right! Thumbs up! Giuseppe Verdi himself would applaud from his grave! Magnifico! Greetings from the United States of America!

I really like to imagine that too. 🌸
Because I am named after this opera, Giseppe, I learned early on to appreciate it and one of the highlights of the entire opera is the grand march and the trumpets, which to this day whenever I hear them make my hair stand on end!!! I love it
I heard Aida at Covent Garden, long ago, and was impressed by the trumpeter's alternating soft tonguing and staccato. A defining moment for a "punter" like me. Bravo to this recording, too!
This beautifully done music is one of the reasons I get to finish my Thesis. Graduation days.
Never get tired of this
Apparently in some parts of the world this is a graduation theme. I can see why - this is very similar in feel to Pomp and Circumstance!

Yes, here in the Philippines, ask anyone what's the tune of their graduation march and they'll hum you this tune. Elgar's pomp and circumstance is attributed more to WWF's wrestler: Macho Man Randy Savage..at lesst by my gneration when i was a kid in the 80's.

It is a triumphal march.. kind a similar when graduates finished degrees just like how soldiers win a battle.
There is something unfathomable in this performance . A brave and proud March is what this March is all about
Wonderful! Trumpets are an international language😎
2:43 reminds me of graduation ceremonies in my nation (Philippines, that is).

This is played well, I’m here after hearing this while marching in my graduation last 4 days ago.
This famous masterpiece they play with exquisite skill and breathtaking technique is overwhelmingly comfortable to the ears and the mind
We saw Aida two nights ago, and this is my favourite piece. Wonderful performance.
Here in the Philippines, we use this song as a Graduation March.

Brilliant performance of Verdi's most regal composition.

Are you kidding me? You want 14 to 18 trumpet players?
If i ever made a movie of my fantasy stories i would put this as the national anthem of the fictional Empire the protagonist is the Emperor, and i would perform this piece on my trumpet as i was acting the Emperor, who in my story is a trumpeteer and conductor, as well as leader and warlord

00:57/04:05 Escúchese como sobresalen los bajos de los metales y los metales altos; y los timbales y los bajos de cuerdas. Es soberbio. Listen to how the low brass and high brass stand out; and the timpani and the string basses. It's superb.
🎹👏👏👏👏
In the Philippines they apparently play this music for graduation ceremonies. For me in the United States, it sort of reminds me of someone gaining a high office! Edit: in particular, the first person I think of is former president William Taft, who eventually ended up on the Supreme Court, and in fact became Chief Justice - and he said that this, not the presidency, was his greatest honor! Edit 2: in case you were wondering, I am fascinated by all things related to Taft.
I WOULD LIKE TO ASK PERMISSION TO USE THIS FOR OUR SCHOOL'S VIRTUAL ALS COMPLETION AND GRADUATION RITES. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
I saw some italian comments... Cuz verdi is an Italian composer.
Why are there so much dislikes? Genuine question. Sound quality?
little einsteins has Aida in little red rockethood and the puzzle of the sphinx
In Mexico it's used in Quinceañeras or 15th birthday for girls.
Philippine Graduation March is the other title of this one
Who's here after knowing that deped graduation song was based from this song
Wonderful, but why close-up shots of every instrument except the solo trumpets, the stars of the show!?
2:57 graduation music starts!

Άριστη ποιοτική εκτέλεση!
I wonder how they choose this for graduation song
@isamarnavale8738

Maybe because of the theme of the music, triumphal march..from the Italian opera Aida, so very apt for the marching graduates who are triumphant in their studies, I guess...
I bet you’re here because your Graduation is near 🎉
