The only video you need for a long beard look 👍🏻 mine is probably about 4 inches shorter than yours and I’ve been trimming just the very bottom to keep it neater and I’m now just growing the sides out until the side length reaches the bottom of my beard. So far it’s taken me a year just to get the sides to stay down on their own but now they are it’s just a matter of time and patience to get me there. It is tough though. You have to be prepared for it to look bad for a while. Which is very hard to do. Great video 👍🏻

I'm watching this because I'm 3 months into my grow and I wanna stay on the right track. Thing is I'm noticing big beard guys are better human beings overall. They seem kind, funny, smart, crazy in a good way, really crazy in a good way, mellow, level headed and deep all at once. Does the longer your beard grows the better man you become? Honest sincere question because to me there definitely seems to be a correlation between beard length and human male awesomeness!!!

I’ve let it grow and the length definitely helps my beard appear fuller but it isn’t by any means a beard like yours and obviously I want to have realistic expectations for 21 and I was wondering what your beard was like at 21 if it was just as full as you have it now or were some areas weaker than others?

So my question is???? And I think I know the answer is to just leave it alone but wanted to make sure. I have about five inches so far, but my neck hair grows straight up into what’s growing down, and it gets all bushy and tangled and a mess, I have to comb it out a few times a day, I use oils and a beard butter, wash it with a beard shampoo once or twice a week, and all and all it’s doing good, but the lower hairs are my neck are being buggers, should I have those off? Or just keep the going for the gravity pull, I have watched a lot of videos and been reading a lot about neck hair and getting a lot of mixed messages.

George I am 11 weeks into my Yeard. I failed twice in the past but have approached things differently this time and feel much more educated and confident than I ever have before. I do not trim at all except for the top cheek line which I trim very little. I know this is completely premature and rest assured I have no intention of trimming for one year, but I worry about finding the right person to trim my beard when the time comes. I have heard so many horror stories of barbers ruining beards that I am already stressing about having to some day sit in the barbers chair with my beard on the line. Is there anyone in Central Florida that you would recommend? I am willing to travel for the right trim when the time comes. I look forward to your response

Vlog of the Yeard You made a statement in your video about seeing a picture of your bearded self. Same thing happened to me! I had been maintenance trimming for professionalism until I shockingly and unexpectedly got a ruinous cheese wedge butchering, and now I'm committed to no trimming. I have a picture with a friend of mine at a party and I miss my beard that use to vex me with fly away hairs. Another channel, I think Greg Boswell is his name, mentioned a barber in central Florida Matt Gifted Hands who is on You Tube. Also, Gray Bailey travels to Melbourne from time to time, so maybe if he gets a guest chair we can sit in his chair! Anyway, I'm going to follow your vlog. Keep your resolve!

I have a kinky beard too personally I would use a clear oil instead; however, a few warm not hot pulses with a blow drier should melt it enough or warm it in your hands first then apply. Pure Shea butter can be great but some are better than others meaning more or less waxiness.

I've found that Ebony Black follicles are similar to a black vehicle insomuch as whatever you use is reflected back like a mirror. And the same goes for Silver or White follicles, whatever is used the light is refracted through without bending, clear or at least colour neutral products are essential.

Totally disagree with the "you can't trim your way to a big beard". You most certainly can! I council Santas all the time who have frizzy, thin beards with no bottom definition. I get in there and look and most every hair is a split end. What's the point of having a ten inch beard if most of the hairs have split and broken leaving a thin binLaden look? My priorities are health, then style, then length... and the key to the first two are judicious use of trimming..
