Beard looks good. Great tutorial! Best video around for trimming short beards. -Rock whatever beard you have! -Trim straight down; not to the contour of your face. -keep the “distinctly masculine” part of your beard at the corners of your jawline.

Hi Mr Bruno. I just have to thank you after watching this video. I have used all the techniques described in a number of your videos and I have to say my beard has never looked better! I have been growing out my beard for 16 weeks and it started to look a little dishevelled to say the least. I contemplated going to a barber to have it trimmed but unfortunately I don't have a lot of confidence at the moment and the thought was giving me nightmares! I used your wealth of knowledge to try and clean up all the wispy ends that started to make me look a little homeless. WOW! The difference is amazing. My beard now looks a hell of a lot more tidy than it has for a while. It even looks fuller now that all the straggly ends have been cut off. You are a beard saver Mr Bruno. Thank you kind sir. Excellent channel in all aspects that you talk about. Much appreciated.

The only man whose advice I readily accept when taking care of my beard! I'm thankful you did this, I've been wondering how to deal with the hair line under my chin once it grows out (outside of trimming my entire face with a number 3 guard). I've been trimming it down with scissors but it never feels quite right. Thanks again, Sultan!

Gray Bailey, brother your video's are awesome & some are very educational. This video has really changed my beard as you showed me the perfect way to trim my beard. My beard is approximately the same length as yours (not quite as straight) but after watching this I trimmed the way you instructed, especially the "under chin jaw line". Last night my wife (out of no where) said "I really like your beard now" Lol. Just wanted to say Thankyou for your video's, I'm pushing 50yrs young, a Christian man & I'm an avid off-road enthusiast. I usually just watch those type of video's but I have to be honest & say I look forward to sitting down with a cup of coffee & watching your videos. Maybe one day I can come up from WV & sit in the "Chill Chair" Thanks again & keep up the good videos, GOD BLESS.

Great video as always but I would take question with the statement of always combing your beard straight down because if you have patches like I do especially when it's growing out that for me it's better to comb it in the direction to help cover it up.

Hi George, my beard is approaching 5 inches, been training it towards my chin. When you say comb straight down, is that strictly for shorter beards, or am I doing it wrong? *Disregard that question, I'm not actually combing it straight down, just guiding the long ends forward a bit. Guess that stress test put my neurotransmitters thru the wringer as well! I'm over thinking the whole thing.

What cordless clippers do you use for the trimming? I got the Wahl Elite Pro Complete High Performance Men's Haircut Kit with Stainless Steel Attachment Guards, and I attach the half guard clip before trimming (as recommended by beardtube). It does an okay job, but I was thinking about returning them. The guy from beardtube recommends the Brio Beardscape trimmers. What is your opinion of those? I figured I would ask you because you are the most respectable beard guy that I have found. Next time, I will try with no guard attached and clippers on the closest setting, like you recommend.

You take a plate that fits the curve that you want to have and then you just lay the plate on a piece of cardboard, draw a line around the plate and then you cut out the circle. When you have that done, cut a piece out from the outer part of the cardboard that fits from the legth. Hope that helps
