I must be half cat as I super enjoyed bathing Dive, Cardinal, Mockingbird, Brown Thrasher, White-Crowned & Chipping Sparrows, female & male Tanager, Bluebird, House finch, Blackbird, etc Cool saw 3 & 4 in bath a same time! A Freind & I rescue songbirds that hit the glass skyscrapers in Newark NJ, Most that hit the skyscrapers perish on impact, or when fall to the cement pavement. TRT made a video named 'Window Strikes in the Business District' of us picking up injured Warblers. The injured get 2nd chance at TRT.

Splash splash splash....splash splash splash. I enjoy this more than my kitties do. The lazy critters hardly open an eye, just snooze on.

The way the birds bathe, all that splashing, makes me think that the birds really enjoy it.

Can you describe the bird bath? I love the fact that water is constantly running....where is it going - and how are you able to keep a flow going? I'd love to create one in my yard.

Yes and I think it's time to make a video of how I create my birdbaths! I use inexpensive cement baths from the Lowes hardware store, and have the water overflow into a small pond liner or other shallow container. I use wood shims to make it level and set a small aquarium pump in the overflow area with the tubing coming up to the birdbath. This is where you can be creative having it pour out of a watering can or statue etc... I usually have a drip line from the faucet slowly going into the container as well to keep a flow of fresh water and ensure it doesn't dry out! If you have any more particular questions I'll try to answer them in that aforementioned video I'll make.

Yeah I made it, it's a very simple build using an aquarium pump and some rubber tubing from a hardware store. I do plan on making a build video, since I do make a lot of these.

There's a little bit of everything in this video, most have a reservoir under the bath with an aquarium pump in it. The bath overflows and most of it lands in the reservoir and gets recirculated. Sometimes the water is coming in fresh depending on the weather and the setup.

@Lens Myth A reputable field guide on birds would've been helpful in identifying unknown birds when a new birder starts learning about a variety of birds. Also, some field-guide sites can also be helpful as well. :)

I've been making them, the bigger one I buy from Lowe's hardware, then just add water pump and a hose to make the fountain.

What place is that? I put my water fountain but I didn't see colorful birds.

My cat likes these videos, he licks the screen and claws at it😂

Where are you located I've never seen such a diverse set of birds in one bird bath
