Apparently mid way through Season 3 there was a program formatting change by NBN i.e. the day & timeslot Seinfeld aired in was changed. What many Executives thought this 'daring read that as stupid move' would end Seinfeld. Like a Seinfeld episode, the EXACT opposite occurred. This timeslot change sent Seinfeld into the stratosphere in the US market, and a year later, the rest of the world. The same exact thing allegedly happened to The Big Bang Theory.
