The running joke of Reacher trying to eat the pie 2 times in that diner and being interrupted, while when he finally tries it he says "he had better" is just a cherry on top of that incredible season

Yeah, in the books, Jack Reacher is Ritchson’s size, not Cruise’s. Tom just had the star power and juice to get the movie made.

the first season is so great that I watched it twice. I sure gonna miss Finn and Roscoe in upcoming 2nd season.

Haven't watched the 2nd season yet, so don't know any details. What I do know, after reading most of the Reacher novels, is that Reacher is the focal point and everyone else is pretty much just along for the ride. This is not a person that I would characterize as a collaborative individual. He yearns for true independence and never gives up that core value.

I've read the novel that this series is based on and, at the end, Reacher is Reacher, heading down the road, alone. After giving his comrades a brief pat on the shoulder and goodbye.

i found the first reacher novel “Killing Floor” in a thrift store, picked it up and read it. I didn’t even know there was a series or anything like that. Watching this was pretty amazing, this was a perfect cast for Reacher

This season was incredible and the casting of reacher himself is perfection 👍

The way KJ reacted to that slap was perfect 😂

That fight scene in the prison shower was incredible. Reacher using his physicality to just throw everyone around like ragdolls lmao

Reacher is the unsung American patriot war hero without a cape, the one you never account for but can always count on, the epitome of doing the right thing by any means necessary, and Finlay locked that guy up in a cell. Like she said, I would hate to be the guy that did that.

The way Reacher hitched a ride to somewhere reminds me of Dr Banner in Incredible Hulk.

I think Reacher really was the most satisfying series of all times. It had that pure Denzel's Equalizer energy in it.

I love how the whole gag of him just wanting to eat the peach pie was through out the whole season 1 to the end. LOL

Alan Ritchson does a great job and is so much closer, IMO, to Lee Child's Reacher. Tom did a passable job, but fans inundated Lee with complaints about his lack of size, so the third Reacher movie was cancelled. Read all the books. Amazing series and hero. Reacher was 6'5" and 250 lbs, hilariously described as "Bigfoot." Alan is a better fit and has it all. Looking forward to Season 2.

The season was perfect. With Disney, the mcu, and the decu, rings of power and all the lecturing bs, this season was the definitive America, entertainment and respect to source material

I'm pretty sure in the book it says that he prefers not to drive and isn't very good at it, but is capable of doing so. Same with his running skills

The relationship between Finland and Reacher could’ve gotten very annoying very quickly but it’s one of my favorites in this season.

There’s no way that these 3 main characters should not return. I hear that Roscoe Conklin ( the female cop ) may not return for the upcoming 2nd season on Prime TV. That would be a Crime that these 3 should solve. Just wouldn’t be the same show. There chemistry or sometimes lack there of is what really made this show- a show you didn’t want to miss!!🙏🏻👼😎🌹😎👼🙏🏻

Guessing you never read the series. . . Reacher is a drifter. He never stays anywhere for very long. Therefore, it was very rare for a character to make an appearance in more than 1 book, and all the books had very likable ones as well, just like this first season. Off the top of my head, I think his friend who was his subordinate (and appeared in this season) is in more than 1 book, so you might see that character again in future seasons, but that's about it I think. . .

Anyone else notice he kinda sounds like Tom Cruise? Which is weird considering Cruise played Reacher in the movie version.

Rosco actress nothing like the book Rosco who was sexy and interesting, this Rosco was rather cold an self absorbed

Season 2 isn’t half as good as season 1 was sadly

As much as I enjoyed watching this show, I gotta say the plot is *insanely stupid* at times. WHY ON EARTH would KJ not only admit to killing Joe but also tell Reacher and Finlay that they would kill them BEFORE letting him roam free again to do a job for them?!

Thats probably the only problem ive had abt the show. In the book old Kliner is the main villain but in the show they just kill him off and make the psycho bum the villain

Season 1 was great. Classic Reacher with a simple story. Season 2 was a real disappointment.

In some ways, he's better, and in some ways, Tom Cruise is better!
