Enjoy...there is no age limit to appreciating music of any kind.
My mother was an Opera singer I grew up listening to her practice I learned opera by the time I was 13 but my voice was never as good as hers was. This music brings me joy and memories of my mother singing the Arias that I did not know at the time were the most beautiful and dramatic music. I would ever hear.
I saw my first opera when i was 8. It rocked my world and Ive been a devotee ever since
I feel like I’m in another world, so much more elegant and beautiful
I am rock metal head from Bosnia, but I love opera as true music expression, a mother of music.
When I was a child I never understand Opera, but now as a soon to be 43yrs old black US veteran, I now truly find it lovely and beautiful to listen to. I'm also a poet at heart, so Opera is like poetry to my ears and heart. I hope I can find many favorite Opera singers soon and just listen to not only their voice but their soul and heart, before this world I depart.

we are all so fortunate for technology, to be able ,wtih a touch of a button,etc. to be able to listen to some of the most beautiful music created hundreds of years ago to the present day.

If you have a quiet moment it's always a good choice to listen to some opera
I love opera very much. You hear it in the early morning hours at 7 am at a place full of flowers and vegetables in the garden with a cup of coffee.

I have been collecting opera LPs (now in storage) since the 1960's, and I am now rejoicing in hearing my favorite arias by my favorite stars in this magnificent collection, Freni, Mesplé, Caballé, Sills, Kraus, Christoff, Créspin, Ludwig and so many more! Thank you for "restoring" my collection to me!

@@richardfallon5507 Many of my amazing recordings from the 1950-60 I had bought at Half Price Books in Dallas in the early 80's and I happily doubled my collection. I hope when I am gone some young person can be overjoyed with my collection as I was then.

I know. I fell in love with opera at about age 12. My father used to bring special recordings home. My sister and I were enthralled. We always used to listen to the rock stars of the time, but I guess it was so we weren't perceived as total nerds at the time. But now I guess that is what we became, and happiy.

When I was 7 my mother taught me learn to keep your mind open to all kinda music that way you can appreciate the finer things in life.
