My favorite plot twist in recent years. I just love Dingdong and Julian's humor when combined with Chris' antics. Thank you all for all these years of constant laughs. It's some of the best youtube I've ever seen. I literally don't repeat any other videos more than once in my life but Oneyplays is the only thing I can watch again and again and never get bored of it. I can't explain it

God Yiik. Honestly, it cemented in my head that being a writer is one of the few creative professions were being mentally stable is very, very, important, if not necessary.

Small detail I noticed but I love how they complain about Yiik not telling them to go to Vella before going to Wind Town, but they reveal at 57:38 (if you pause at the right time) that Alex talks about asking Vella before going to Wind Town and yet Oney and the gang ignore it by making a joke at Alex's usually useless monologuing, when in fact, this is one of the few times where listening to it would've been useful.

1:11 I need DD’s health meter explanation typed out in text, cuz that was highly entertaining and hilarious. Also a remix song of that. That was awesome.

To think it's gonna be a full year soon since Chris was supposed to release the Yiik finale. He said he wanted to call in Kirbopher to do something special, and make a 3D animation too. I honestly can't tell now if Chris has either too much work or he's lazy just like Matt said. I'm expecting this animation to have 10 minutes and have PS5 level graphics at this point.

Your choices for the Yiik segment are great. I come back to this video a lot of times just for that part, as the full playthrough is a bit too much.

Just realised that in yiik in addition to character sprites jittering and losing shadows on "animated" frames when they're flipped they're just flipped. So alex's two brothers shirt becomes unreadable lol

Yiik doesn’t even feel like it was real, when it got to that part while listening to this at work I thought I entered the twilight zone

i loved oneystays cuz i noticed julians gotten a lot better at improvising and comedic timing. i thought he was funny before, but he funny as fuck now.

I'm still regularly bummed out whenever I get reminded we probably won't ever see the OneyPlays finale for YIIK. I was really looking forward to it since people were talking about how Chris was supposedly working on something in Blender for it and they had gotten the VA for Alex to work with them on something for it. They even had the VA on as a guest for an episode at one point and kinda hinted that the reason he was in that video was because they were doing something earlier with him related to YIIK. Then there was all that negative stuff Chris went off on about on Reddit in regards to the release of the finale and now it's probably just a dead project :/ it really sucks since I thought Chris was really good about actually doing what he said he would eventually but he basically got angry and told off fans for asking about updates on it since it was getting closer to 2023 and nothing was mentioned about it, said he would never promise to do anything for the fans again, and that if he was going to do a big project he wasn't going to tell anyone not involved in production until its released. Because apparently people being excited about something and wondering when it'll be out is a bad thing for someone who animates, is trying to make a videogame, and creates content online. I get the feeling Chris really hates any kind of deadline for anything work related because every time he's had to decide one himself he spits out the info like you had to torture it out of him
