J adore les malinois ce sont des chiens d expections très obéissants et très intelligents d ailleurs C est souvent eux qui sont aux côtés des gendarmes ou policiers j en ai eu 1 très dominant par contre

Hey I'm a disabled tramatic brain injury survivor I'm wanting to see about training A Dutch shepherd to protect me and use it for therapy dog for me and other people.. I want just the basic figure out how to do this and maybe for others..any ideas thanks

A lot of people who compete in this sport, KNPV, buys a puppy trains it to compete and then sell it later on. Then they go buy a puppy and do it all over again. It's takes a lot of work and time, maybe 2 years on average. These dogs while excellent at what they do may not suit everyone unless you're trying to compete yourself. You say you wanted something to protect you unless you're in some shady business you're likely never going to need to ever attack someone with your dog. The mere presence of a large German Shepherd working line might just be what you need. A calmer one possibly since the general working lines are pretty high drive so may not do well at therapy dogs. Although I think it can be possible. As for price, I think depending on the place you live, you can get it anywhere from $10-50k for a personal protection dog. They're going to be hand raised ever since they're a puppy into adulthood to be just that. So, everyone needs to be cautious around you. They can't get near you unless you say so since the dog is always on alert even if friends come by.

Can you imagine your job being you just letting lethal machines attack you over and over?!

I have 2 bit bull mix . I live up in the woods .they chase predators like pros .one chases and the other passes them both and cuts off the predators. Its a trip to see how they do this with no training from me .its fun for them .I just can't imagine what they would do to a human intruder . But these dogs are beyond exceptional 😍.

Well they are great at giving the dog confines. But are all the dogs really bringing them down. That's actually harder to tell. Good job tho handlers

Never could understand why they train the dog to go at the hand without the weapon?.... And when the aggressor on the ground why does he get up ?... If the training suppose to be as real as possible then I believe the dog should attack the hand with the weapon and when the aggressor is down he should stay down.... even in competition.

The TRAINING is supposed to STOP THE INTRUDER OR AGGRESSOR IN HIS TRACK....Stop if he lies still THEN THE DOG SHOULD STOP THE ATTACK AND WATCH HIM UNTILL THE OWNER CALL HIM OFF.

When the dog bites the intruder he starts to hit the dog with the weapon AT THIS POINT I WILL WANT MY DOG TO LET GO AND ATTACK THE HAND WITH THE WEAPON.

Content de voir quelqu'un qui soulève ce point, en effet, pas top au niveau des cervicales et dos des chiens. Sans compter que les HA vont au contact en courant vers le chien, ce qui multiplie la force d'impact... Je doute fort que ces chiens vieillissent bien... Je rajouterais aussi que niveau ligaments croisés, pas super non plus... Par contre, supers bons chiens, gros impact et bonne prise en gueule.

I HAD A PIT BULL THAT WILL LET GO AND ATTACK THE HAND WITH THE WEAPON and they said the rebiting as they call it is not good. THEY believe the aggressor might get away IF THE DOG LETGO AND REBITE

Apparemment,vous ne connaissez pas le programme ph du knpv! Il comporte meme du pistage et du travail à l eau! C est autre chose que le ring français! Pretendre que le ring français est plus interessant releve soit de la meconnaissance et de l incompetence,soit du chauvinisme et du parti pris...
