And the fact that the writers never tried to make them the same cookie-cutter person was a credit to the show’s writers. They were unique in their own ways, and it made them well loved by Married With Children fans.

Letting David Garrison go back to theater was one of the best decisions ever made during this series.

Jefferson was my favorite on this show. He's such a good comedic actor! The fact that his character is also the Pretty Boy just made the show even more hilarious! 🤣

The D'Arcy Files the best one. Jefferson for sure brought life into this show Married With Children(MWC) he was awesome.

That was cool. I’ve never seen them play Peg and Al and I thought I’ve seen it all. Missed that episode somehow.

Amanda was probably thinking if only i had two women fighting over me like this.

I loved the show, it was extremely funny. Jefferson was a great replacement, usually replacements don't work out and the show suffer's but not in this case, the show remained strong. I do wish Steve had stayed for a few more seasons because he was a great character also.

David Garrison left the series because he wanted to go back to theater acting, but he returned occasionally every so often, so it wasn’t on bad terms. He almost got to be on a spinoff sitcom centered around Bud’s college.

They nailed the Al and Peg roles

I have always preferred Jefferson.

She was a big part about why the series was so good, especially in the later years.

It's hilarious that Al doesn't even know the current President when this show was on (Clinton IIRC).

In my opinion, the episode where Jefferson is in the pinstripe suit, pimpin' Kelly's pool skills, is the definition of his character. Alpha Beta alumni- Revenge of the Nerds!

Ah, Jefferson. The man that made Marcy gain a little bit of newfound respect for Al, since she and he were the ones working while their spouses sat at home looking pretty and actively trying to not do much else. But to his credit, Jefferson did at least do a little bit more - even if sometimes that meant trying to scam people.

Peg was completely useless compared to Jefferson... Marcy kept him because he was good looking and great in bed... but Marcy ended up marrying a mix of Al with Peg lol like a comment above cleverly pointed it out.
