Panda Eyes made me basically rediscover my love for electronic music, dubstep in particular. Recommend listening to the whole KIKO album, I've had that shit on repeat for three days.

How to make Glitch Hop:) 1. Setting all MIDI and audio clips to "triplet grid" 2. Assign kick at 1,3, and snare be assigned at 2,4. (You freely can change rhythms.) 3. Use Sawtooth lead or vocal chopper and saw bass (like Optic) to make reverbation 4. Add slap bass to make syncopation and reverbation. 5. Enjoy your music!

They are just made into VST Plug-ins. I usually use Rverb and Reverb in serum FX channels. And syncopation is to grid up your DAW (Shift+Mouse wheel) and place the notes slightly in front of anchoring notes.

All the music in this video is absolutely beautiful and amazing! I think I’ve finally found my favourite music genre! The first three songs (0:00, 3:47, 7:43), and the 3rd to last one (45:49) are my favourites. Sadly I can’t find any Glitch Hop music that’s this good on Spotify. All of the Glitch Hop on there isn’t very good, and doesn’t even sound the same as what’s in this video.

PopStep? idk. it sounds like manic video game music to me. it is definitely neither "glitch" or "[hip] hop" though, and those are sort of defining elements of Glitch Hop. an example of what i'd consider Glitch Hop is edIT - "Crying Over Pros For No Reason (Full Deluxe Album)"
